Toner OK, shop elsewhere for the chips
Color is slightly off from OEM, but ok. Main issued is vendor doesn't understand that the manufacture has different toner cartridge chips for each toner color and instead sends 4 generic (black) cartridge chips which don't work for the color ones. After contracting the vendor a couple times, they sent the correct color matched toner cartridge chips (looks like they were sourced from another vendor U-Line) Overall, toner is ok, but I'd shop elsewhere for the replacement chips that are required. Personally I still think each toner cartridge having a computer chip on it is a dumb design, but what do I know, I'm only an engineer.

Not Bad
Messy, but much better than paying MSRP. Make sure you empty cartridge before you refill. This is important.

Not good at all...
The prints have a layer fine black dust all over after I replaced the black toner. Black is dull and not glossy. If you are desperate use it, otherwise look for originals.

The vendor was ok, but could do far far better . . .
But this is not my first rodeo: and filling your own laser cartridges is a variable feast. By the same token, a full set of extended use OEM Cartridges is about $400. I now understand why J&R was giving these Konica/Minolta 1600W's away. I'd love to see the mathematics on how Konica/Minolta makes money in the final analysis. As I write, my Konica/Minolta 1600W is operating with a full set of 4 recharged cartridges: black, yellow, cyan, and magenta. The color quality, saturation, and evenness of coverage are all quite good.Except (and this is a big except): there are small black dots all over the page. I observed this same phenomenon earlier when I purchased an already recharged cartridge. It's a really fine dusting - which turns the paper gray.First, it needs recognizing that Konica/Minolta is not going to offer any material assistance in recharging their cartridges. So I believe that NE Image could have supplied machine specific instructions to supplement Konica/Minolta's scanty help.On the Konica/Minolta 1600W, is is absolutely imperative that you first install the Remote Panel Utility (Remote_Panel.exe).You need to do this in order to rotate the cartridge carrier and to position the individual cartridges for removal. It is not as easy as it looks. Re-installing cartridges when the carrier is not in the exact correct position is problematic. I actually owned two of these 1600W's: and ended up throwing one away when I jammed up the rotating cartridge carrier so badly that the machine hung up.On this second go-round, I actually damaged one of the cartridges trying to re install it. The rod which rotates and gets covered in toner actually popped out. It was not hard to reinsert it - but it is very messy to even get near these cartridges. My point is that you need to carefully study the operation and set aside about 2-3 hours to get it right. Set up a deliberate plan of attack to rotate the carrier one position at-a time-using the Remote Panel Utility (which operates from the system tray after executing). Learn to understand when the cartridge is in the exact correct position for removal. The correct position is a little further down than you might otherwise think. As for for little black dots all over the page . . . sort of a fine soot if you will:I am still working on this problem. In the Remote Panel Utility, under "User Service", there is a "Transfer Power" setting. I believe that this may adjust the machine in a manner which avoids all the little black dots. I have a feeling that "transfer power" is a measure of electrostatic force on the imaging drum. What the heck do I know? But NE Image can do a much much better job of explaining the particulars of my machine. I purchased an OEM B&W backup at Staples with a $25 coupon. At some point, I may break it out and see if that improves things. But I will definitely purchase another color re-fill set.
