A good read

Great book. I just love Doc Martens.

Being 50 this book is a yardstick of my life, from the music to the lifestyles. The early part of the book tells how this design classic came about. But when you get to the late 60s early 70s the book explodes into a who's who and what's what of british youth culture. Anybody who want's to read about life before mobile phones, When friends were someone that you turned around and talked to this is the book for you.From Mod's, to Skin's to Punk's and beyond the Doc Marten has been there. Anybody doing British social studies at uni. This is an essential work of reference.
