A Sweet Blast from the Past
I’ve used these gels since I was younger when my blood sugar would crash, and it was great to find them again. They taste good, work fast, and give a reliable sugar boost in minutes. Perfect to keep in a bag or at work for emergencies. Pros: Tastes good (cherry flavor) Fast-acting glucose for quick relief Convenient single-use tubes Cons: A bit pricey compared to other options Overall, these are a lifesaver when your blood sugar drops and very easy to carry anywhere.

A total life saver
I never let my supply run short. This has been a true life saver when my mom’s sugar plummeted to 51! So thankful I had it on hand when I needed it!

Get it and hopefully you won't have to use it.
Great to have on hand for those low sugar moments. It's been a lifesaver...literally.

Glucose gels
Nasty taste but works well when applied to the gums to raise low blood sugars instantly

Expensive
It’s SO much cheaper to just buy cake icing tubes, and they work the exact same, however, I like this because it’s more obvious to a non-diabetic what it’s for. It’s clearly for giving glucose and has directions on it. I keep these in my backpack and car in case somebody needs to use it, but I use cake frosting when I’m conscious enough to know what I’m doing.

Thank you for manufacturing these. There is a REAL need!
My 19 year old Type 1 diabetic had a terrifying moment on our way back from a hot day at the zoo where she suddenly became delirious, then her eye sight went blurry and on the verge of a seizure. Since diagnosed at age 11, she has had a few seizure episodes in the early past, but manages it well and only low blood sugars the past few years that she can feel coming on and treated with sugar tablets. So when this happened, all she and I had were sugar tablets so told her to chew up and hold under her tongue knowing that it would NOT be as fast acting as a gel, tube cake icing, a soda pop, etc. It really concerned me if she had been driving her ability to open and chew sugar tablets in time, which are one by one and only about 4 grams a tablet. She needed something really fast. So I found these, easier to open that cake icing tubes, they have a whopping 24 grams and she keeps two in her vehicle and we all carry one with us. Not for the daily lows, sugar tabs or powders work for those and less expensive, but for those real emergencies and she will need to act fast. For those of you with little kids and Type 1, give these to your school bus driver, teachers, etc. (Of course your school nurse should have a Glycogen Kit as well.) Type 1 Diabetes is a horrible disease and it changes the rules on us when it wants to, just like our trip back from the zoo. Best wishes and good health to all you families affected by Type 1 like ours.

Life saver
My 2 year old is a type 1 diabetic and when her sugar is dropping she will refuse to eat or drink anything. Was so frustrating for me. Bought this a while back.but didn't have to use it until a few days ago. It was easier to give her compared to the packets we used to get from the store. She managed to still spill some out but I was able to get a good amount of gel in there due to the way the tip of the tube is shaped. Good that its 24g because she only needs 15g so even if some spells it doesn't matter. This worked so fast, in less than 10 mins, she was laughing and running around again. Its expensive but worth it. Will be getting more.

Please never stop making these
These have saved my husband’s life on more than one occasion. Extreme overnight lows and I was able to get these into his mouth and absorbed. They’re easy to carry for plane rides and when you’re on the go. We keep the other glucose pouches (less expensive) for when he’s able to administer them himself. But there’s been a few times he was unable to administer and I was able to bring him back with these. A must for every diabetic.
