Sturdy drawing paper — but not ideal for layered wet media
This is a nice product, but I would not claim it to be professional grade. It is well worth the money at a little more than 0.22 a sheet. The paper is a lot thinner than standard mix media paper— I would not feel comfortable using layered Watercolor techniques. This seems best suited to higher grade alcohol markers that don’t bleed excessively— for brands like prismacolor, touchnew, and ohuhu — You’ll definitely want a buffer layer behind your drawing so the ink doesn’t ruin the next page(s).The paper is smooth in texture— there is a slight graininess on the front side, and the back is almost paper printer smooth.I collect a lot of different types of paper, and I do really like these pads— there is no buyer’s remorse here— I just wouldn’t go as far to say that this is a truly sturdy mix Media paper—

DO
I'm pretty sure "mixed media paper" means it includes watercolors. However the first peice of paper in the pad I painted a light coat of light green and yellow watercolors and almost immediately the paper began to warp. I've used watercolors before, it's not a new media to me. I didnt soak the paper, so I cant understand what happened. By the time I was done with the second light coat, the 3 pages under the one I was working on were wet and also warping. I'm not amused. These pads aren't cheap. I purchased them thinking they would do what they claim they would, especially with the brand name Arteza.I strongly do not reccomend these pads to anyone doing anything more than crayons, as I do hope at least those would be tolerated by the flimsy paper.

Great buy for practicing watercolor techniques.
This has quickly moved up to my favorite "practice" watercolor painting pad. Lets be real for a minute: watercolor paper is EXPENSIVE!!! So instead of using actual 140 lb WC paper every time I want to just play around with WC, Ill use this (guilt-free). I use it mainly to practice painting a certain flower or different styles of watercolor, for getting an idea of a painting I am wanting to do, or for trying out different color palettes, new colors, new brushes, different techniques, etc. I refuse to waste my REAL, high-quality, EXPENSIVE WC paper on this. I just want to reiterate this: This is NOT specifically made for watercolor painting, so if you're looking to apply layer after layer, puddle after puddle, this is NOT that type of paper. NOTE: the last photo I enclosed gives you an idea of this paper pad compared to Strathmore, hot pressed, 140 lb WC paper. The biggest difference (to me) is the WC dries MUCH faster & a bit differently. This pad will bleed colors through water but differently & less vigorously than real WC paper would (if that makes sense, its hard to explain). But it still remains my favorite to practice with.

Awesome Quality
As someone who has bought, almost entirely, Strathmore this is a MILLION times better quality than Strathmore! I bought the 11x14 bundle pack and thrilled with how beautiful this paper is! I'm not sure if this will make sense to you but it FEELS good to draw on! So far I have only used dry media in mine but it makes graphite look stunning so I haven't wanted to do nothing but use graphite! How well it picks up graphite is super satisfying! I bought a $35 piece of nice paper (it was like this soft, long fibered, paper) back in college for an art project, and I compare these sketchbooks to THAT paper! Unbelievable quality for drawing!

60 x 2 reasons why such a good deal
I like the fact that this is a two book set. So, I have 120 total pages to work thru before committing to canvas...The 11 x 14 inch size is perfect for my needs. This mixed media pad is holding up quite well for my acrylic painting with some water added to my paints. The pages haven't buckled at all.I should have drawn my kitty on the backside, which is smooth. The front side has decent tooth for painting. As seen in my second acrylic painting... bristle brushes and/or overworking your painting will lift the paper...but still no bleed thru nor warping.

Sketch pads
These are pretty nice sketch pads. I’d like stiffer cover and back boards but a piece of Masonite as a drawing board solves that problem. The paper itself is ok. The front side has nice tooth but the back side is very smooth so if you’re using both sides they behave differently under a pencil. I also found that both water based and permanent markers bleed through a bit so don’t plan to use both sides of a page with markers. Use of watercolor paint however does not bleed through and I’ve painted both sides with no problem.

Bleeds my markers dry
This is great art paper for dry, but wet not so much. It ripples the paper and bleeds markers dry. Gonna stay with Strathmore 60lb. Recycled paper.

Great Paper for Markers and Ink
I am updating my earlier review to 5 stars. I've recently tested a few other "Marker Papers" and always come back to this paper for it's quality, its thickness and it's color saturation. Marker users make sure to use the smooth side. This is NOT bleed proof, in fact, you get your best blending when the paper soaks up a bit of the base layer. I wouldn't recommend more than 3 color layers though as you could start to get some feathering. Otherwise, this paper is my go to everyday drawing and marker paper.

Good Value for Good quality paper
I like using these for my fashion degree as I like to use a lot of mixed media it handles water colours excellently as well as charcoals, pencils, pastels etc.I also like that it’s designed for you to tear out the pages if you need.Really good for value.

Calidad
