Single mom here, this was EASY for me to install myself while following included instructions. Looks great and works as intended and was a great deal especially after looking in different stores in my area.

Had it for a little over a year, and the knobs paint/finish is easily scratched by the keys. and the handle wobbles. It works still though and comes with everything needed to install it.

Quality is ok, serves its purpose. Not a quality entry security lock but good for low security.

Holy Cow! What a complete piece of crap! I got hands on this today, and the quality is terrible. If you brush the knobs against ANYTHING, paint is coming off, and you'll be lucky to escape without a dent in the knob. I had several wrong parts in my kit as well. I pulled up a video, thinking I was an idiot, however- what was shown in the video was a far cry from my experience. The internal mechanism of the outer door knob with the keyhole were completely upside down. Installing it properly - would have resulted in the key hole being on the top of the knob instead of the bottom. This wasn't even the biggest issue however. The screws that came with the fasten the inner door knob were the complete wrong diameter, and I assume length as well. In the video, the technician slides the screws through the outer ring of the door knob, to line them up with the holes you are meant to screw the screws into. However, the screws received with my kit, did not slide through the hole in the outer ring. They required being screwed through, which looked to damage the screws in general. This process resulted in a ton of visual scratches and paint rubbing off on the knob. The experience might be different if your receive the correct parts, however- that was not my experience. Thankfully -- the issue with my existing door knob was specific to the latch bolt, which was the only part of this kit that was any good. I swapped my latch bolt out with the one from this kit, re-installed my old knobs, and we're all good now. Do not recommend this product in the SLIGHTEST.

Assembly is difficult especially because there’s no manual. Plus locking mechanism is all funky.

We bought a house and didn't get a key for the back door, so I decided to buy this set because it was a third of the price of a locksmith's service call alone. The handle on this also locks, whereas the old one didn't, so now we have an extra layer of security. Install was incredibly easy, so I'm not sure what other reviewers were complaining about... And my only experience with changing door hardware is installing August smart locks and repeatedly fixing the same cheap handle that kept falling off my old door. The only hiccup I ran into was getting the deadbolt direction right. When you put the interior part on, you need to make sure the locking tab is turned to match the lock state of the deadbolt. (You'll know you've done it wrong if you can only lock it from the outside with the key. Just take it off, flip the tab, and put it back on.) The reason I'm docking some stars is because the quality is really not great. There is a ton of play with the deadbolt's locking tab thing and the finish scratches very easily. I knew scratching was an issue going in, so I was very careful, but still scratched it slightly while tightening the screws. It's not very noticable, but still kind of a bummer. I can't complain too much because the price of this thing is just unbeatable, and it does look great on my door, but I do not expect it to last for very long. I would not recommend it for a front door or any high-traffic area where it's going to sustain a lot of wear. It has that cheap, un-smooth feeling when you turn the handle or locking mechanisms and given my experience with a previous cheap door handle falling off all the time (which leaves a big old hole in your door), I do not trust it completely for security purposes. I fortunately have several other burglary deterrents at this door (cameras, lights, etc.) but I might have returned it if I didn't.

Its okay. Just tricky to work out exactly whivh way the screws go in. But onve they are housed youll realise. Oh. Its actually pretty easy. Lol

Cumple su cometido, mi hijo de 11 años me ayudo a instalarla y practicamente hizo todo el solo. Siguio los pasos que venian en el manual y se ayudó con videos de youtube pero la instalacion le resultó sencilla. Si un niño de 11 años lo puede hacer, cualquiera puede. Lo recomiendo para una emergencia ya que el diseño es algo neutro, con unos pesos mas puedes instalar algo mas bonito

It works. Its cheaper than a local hardware store, but not cheaper enough for the poor build quality. A moderately strong male could probably yank this right off your door with one hand. I'm worried my kids will do just that within a couple years. But it works for now. I would not use this somewhere that you actually wanted to keep people out of

Not exactly an easy installation, but not terrible. Make sure to adjust the offset to match the drilled holes of your door if using a prepunched door. The door knob is a bit flimsy/wobbly, but it works fine. We will see how long it holds up. It does look great though so it has that going for it.
