This nite lite is best described as a dim light used to provide just enough light at night to maneuver and not walk into things at night. The surface lit is large but dim so the light does not disturb you at night, the amber color is also designed to not hurt your eyes at night. It is large, but I do not need to normally use that outlet for any other uses. Ideal for the purpose of giving your just enough light at night to see your surroundings but not wake you up or make you squint.

Perfect night light with auto light sensing. As they advertised, light sensing will be on at dusk, off at dawn. If other lights are turned ON, this night lamp goes off automatically which is a cool feature. White finish with amber night light gives a cool look at night when light is ON. have two light modes- high and low. even the light in high mode is not too bright and is so soft/warm and looks like candle light glow.. not glary.. even if we look at it in middle of the sleep.. which is really good for eyes.. definitely recommend this.Only con is that plug outlet is not on top (bad design) and is blocking second outlet but that's not a big deal as most of the bed rooms will have outlets around all corners :-) .. see the pictures.

I had a nightlight before this one that was rated two or three out of four on the brightness scale. It was quite bright and I needed something dimmer to help my infant sleep through the night and distinguish night from day. What I like best about this nightlight is that it's nice and dim enough that I can find my way around the bedroom and yet the warm amber color isn't disruptive for sleep. The rectangular light shape is a but trippy looking head on. I'd say my clock alarm light is brighter than this but it doesn't light as much of the room than the nightlight, despite its dimness. This nightlight may be useful for a diaper change in the dark but it should pretty much be right next to the change table if you expect to see anything.

I like having a nightlight in my bedroom for those midnight trips to the bathroom, but my eyes are very sensitive and most nightlights are too bright for me. I was delighted to find this one. It has a brighter setting and a dimmer one, and I usually keep it on the dim one. It's just enough light to see, but not enough to blind me or keep me from sleeping. It turns off when the sun comes up, and turns on when we turn out our lights.The only downside is that it's huge and the plug is badly placed; it covers both outlets no matter how you plug it. That really sucks. It would have been easy to put the prongs at either the top or the bottom of the light instead of almost right in the middle. I hate rendering one of my outlets useless when I have so few in my room already. But overall I'd recommend this light.

Very nice light with great lighting, warm orange LED makes its especially nice for both bedroom and bathroom lighting ambiance.

The way this is designed, you have to cover both outlet ports with this one thing. So you can't just leave it whre you want in say, the bathroom, because in order for me to use a straightener etc I have to keep taking it off.

I don't need a night light in my home, but it is nice to have! Especially, since I have 2 cats who like to drag their toys all over the house. So, having the GE LED SleepLite Night Light has been amazing. I'm not stepping on cat toys when I walk through my hallway anymore. And I'm not tripping over cats either. It has been wonderful. This light is bright, but it isn't so bright that it bothers me while sleeping. I definitely wouldn't want it in my bedroom. However, in the hallway, it is perfectly fine to use. And I certainly enjoy the fact it only turns on when it gets dark. The GE LED SleepLite Night Light is a great light that has made life a little easier. For the price, you really can't go wrong. Would definitely buy again and recommend!

If you need a bit of light to sleep this is the light for you. As a sleeplite this works great. If like me you want a bit more light so you can gain a bit of visibility in a dark room this product is useless. It's very dim even at it's brightest and doesn't even adjust to this setting unless a room is pitch black (I actually have to put my thumb over the sensor to achieve the brighter setting when on high). On low this is like a glow in the dark sticker. It's something to look at but little more. I have it in my bedroom next to a bed side table and even on high I can't even see glasses setting on that little table. It's also quite large and well block both plugs on an outlet.

I had already bought two for a long hallway that has very little light. It has three settings with the push button- off, low, and high. If left on high or low , it auto-activates by sensor when it gets dark . If not in use for a period you can switch it to off and then you don't have to unplug it . Friends admire the Amber glow and think the design is so modern. Just bought a third one for the bathroom. I highly recommend this product. I give it seven stars out of five.

Great night light for our little difficult sleeper. We were looking for something very dim. All the kids toys with night light are just too bright and disturbing. The amber colour on that light is extremely comfortable and on low setting it's not disturbing. Sometimes we even put it on high for him to fall asleep and set it back to low later when the grown ups go to bed.Only minor point to remark: be aware that due to its size this is blocking 2 electricity outlets.

Looks and feels high quality. Very sensitive light detection. Only two level brightness though which may not suite everyone’s need. Size wise it is exact size of a single dong cover plate.

La luz esta perfecta. No entiendo los que escribieron Los otros compradores que no es suficiente luz ya que dicen que es muy poca Luz? Pues no es un secreto Es una Luz de noche no una lampara jajaja. Se supone que tiene que dar poca Luz como debe de ser unaLuz de noche [night light] lo bueno que tiene un Boton para apagarlo si tienes un lugar siempre oscuro ya que no se apagaria tendrias que apagarlo manualmente ovio si entra Luz no tendras problemas ya que se prende y apaga automaticamente cuando ya sea de dia o noche. Yo utiliso esta Luz en el baño y a un lado de la camita de mi hijo. La Luz es mas que suficiente. Esta luz no es como Las luz de foquito que son como foco regulares si saben Las que me refiero que aveses traen figuritas como tapita con un switch abajo de prendido y apagado. Esta es mas calida Y moderna y tiene opcion de Luz alta. En verdad con la baja ayuda a ver y sin molestias para dormir. Para que estas pensandolo Compralo yo la recomiendo.
