Supacaz Super Sticky Kush Galaxy Bar Tape

Super comfy and nice looking tape. Grippy even when wet with rain or sweat in your bare hands but not annoyingly tacky feeling. Also provides ample cushioning despite being reasonably thin. I can’t stand super thick and plush feeling bars as I feel like there is less tactile road feedback which is part of the fun of riding for me. The tape edges are nicely tapered to allow a very straight look, rather than the spiral-wrapped look of some other tapes.Some people have complained about the length and stretchiness being less than adequate, but if you’re not confident and experienced at wrapping bars just pay your local bike shop to install it and they will make it perfect. Better yet, just order it through your local bike shop instead of Amazon. Otherwise, if you have friends who ride, chances are one of your mates will be able to take care of installation if you are worried about messing it up.A bit pricy as it doesn’t seem to be any more durable that the Cinelli volee tape I switched from, which comes in at just over half the price of the Supacaz. If that additional cost is to pay for the bar ends that’s cool, but maybe leave an option for just tape, since the aluminum bar plugs will like last a few changes of tape.Overall it’s fantastic feeling tape to ride, and I will likely buy it next time I need to wrap a bike up.

This stuff is great. Looks amazing. I've never done bar tape before, and I was super anxious to do it, as I didn't want to mess it up, especially at this price point. It was actually super easy to install, I just watched the Supacaz YouTube video. The bar end caps are amazing. They pop in, then you screw the middle and it expands inside your bar, so it won't fall out like most others. The end caps are nearly worth the price of the whole package. I also like the finishing tape, looks and feels way better than electrical tape. One thing on the install is to pay attention to where you start. As the bar end pushes some of the tape in, you want the fold on the bottom of the bar instead of the top.

Love the look and how this complements my bike. Feels great. If I had one recommendation, it would be to have the stars on both sides of the bar tape, so you could wrap in either direction, without covering the stars up. As it is, I had to plan out how to get the stars to show up on both the drops and tops and still have the tape wrapped in the correct direction on the top of the bars. I ended up having to wrap counter clockwise on the drops.That said, I'm really pleased and how the bars came out. It looks and feels great.

This bar tape is perfect for the humid southeast summers when you sweat your ass off. Very grippy and easy to hold on to when your hands are slick. It doesn't stretch like cork tape, but I didn't have a problem wrapping my bars. I didn't have a ton of extra material, but it was long enough to wrap where I normally wrap my bars. I'm on the fence about the screw in plugs as they are a bit heavier than normal plastic inserts, but i've also had plastic inserts fall out. Kind of expensive bar wrap, so I'll have to see how it holds up, but so far I like it.

This bar tape is GREAT.I got it to replace some old tape, and I wanted something with just a tiny splash of color. This fit the Bill perfectly.It was easy to install, has nice bar end plugs, and looks fantastic.It’s also extremely nice to ride with. It’s really grippy, but also comfortable.I would definitely recommend this tape.

This is a nice feeling tape I gave to my mechanic doing an overhaul on my bike. She said it was the worst tape she's ever applied and it's too short - she charged me extra for installing it. Based on the high price of the tape to begin with I wouldn't recommend it unless they become a little more generous with the tape length.

I don’t know, one side went on perfect, the other side not so much, somehow it ripped when I was rapping it, defective? Don’t know but tape it to hold in place

Bought this for a custom build that I really wanted to nail both the aesthetics and performance. This did the trick, super happy with how it turned out. Definitely the grippiest bar tape I have used as well. Much prefer this over any of the cork/syntethic cork tapes.

Looks great feels soft and comfortable no need for gloves any longer it’s that good.
