If you have quality boots or shoes, you need trees
I grew up using shoe trees for my leather boots and dress shoes. Cedar trees will not only keep the shape of your shoes and boots, but also extend the life of the leather (or other hides like ostrich, caiman, lizard...) for years. Along with simple cleaning, conditioning, and depending on leather, polishing, trees like this will help your shoes and boots last for decades. I have several pair of cowboy boots, size 12, and these work perfectly by not being too loose or too snug.

YOU NEED THESE
I have a pair of these for every pair of boots I have. They keep the boots from curling up and looking like elf shoes. You cannot do without these.

Work on the quality of your rails.
Assuming the wood is doing its job I'll give it 4 stars. The product is a bit big despite getting the size they recommend for my boot size. The rail that connects the front and back portion gets stuck and grinds a bit, nothing that keeps you from working with it but you need a little elbow grease to put the boot tree inside your boots.Again assuming the product is doing its job then it's still a four star product because it does what it's supposed to and my complaints don't have an effect on that. If it isn't wicking and my boots start smelling eventually then this would be a 1 star.

A must for expensive boots
Like the boot trees. Amazon apparently thinks you wear the shoe trees based on the questions they ask about fit and comfort. The cedar trees are shaped to fit western boots. I use them on Lucchese kangaroo hide boots. Slides in and out easily. Holds the foot shape so the boots appearance remains sharp. These trees only shapes the boot foot so you won't maintain the shaft's appearance with them.Cedar wood leaves the boots smelling fresh between wear and absorbs moisture to protect the leather.Worth the investment for expensive boots.

Great shoe trees
Excellent shoe tree at a great price. Discovered these when I ordered a pair of trees to go with a very nice pair of shoes I ordered. I saw they were Rochester shoe trees with the shoe brand name etched on them.

Perfect And Necessary
These cedar trees appear to be well made and fit my Ariat and Tecovas Duke Ostrich boots perfectly. The vamp and width matches the boots perfectly and they are very easy to install and remove. The tree design and price are comparable to other products on the market so I can’t say anything unique about them. As already said, the trees fit my boots perfectly and this is good enough. I’ve always used cedar shoe trees for all of my dress shoes. Therefore, I am confident these boot trees will work out just fine. I highly recommend them.

Exotic Boots
Nothing quite like a fresh pair of boot trees for a brand spankin’ new pair of cowboy boots. Are you someone who cares about your boots lasting as long as possible and retaining their shape as long as you own them? I slid these puppies into my new exotics and it was like I’d never taken my feet out of them. The only difference between these and your own feet is the refreshing cedar smell of the boot trees. They definitely help absorb a lot of the moisture and smell that your feet put out after a hard day of work, and for a great price.

Good quality budget cedar boot trees
These are very good quality cedar boot trees and do the job of keeping the foot area of the boot in good condition. However, the heel part of the boot tree is too narrow and does not fill the heel area well enough. The result is that the heel area of the boot is not kept filled out and the sides of the heel area are not kept in ideal shape. For the money they are not bad, and they are certainly better than not having boot trees at all. I would buy them again if nothing better was available at a reasonable price.

Broke on first use
The positives. Nicely shaped (high instep) and well crafted, albeit a bit narrow for Chelsea boots like RM Williams, they are, after all, designed for pointer western boots. The wood and smell were sublime! The negative. It broke on first use...dangerously! First time removing them, the heel split in half and flung a piece right into my eye. Lucky it didn't do any permanent damage. Perhaps unlucky. Out of 30 shoe trees from different makers, this is the first pair that has ever broken.
