We like the chairs, but they were so poorly packaged I had to deduct 2 stars. The bases and seats are separate (you have to tap the seat onto the base and use hardware to secure it), so the box contained 2 bases and 2 seats. Box arrived with gaping holes and looked beaten up. I would have refused delivery had I been home when it was left on my doorstep due to how the box looked and the danger of loss of hardware through the holes. However, returning something after the fact is a pain, so my husband painted the multiple scratches (from poor packaging?) with black Rustoleum and an artist brush, and used a rubber mallet to tap the bent arms of one seat back into alignment. One chair had the back mesh of the seat back bend and flex as another reviewer mentioned; husband fixed that by tying the mesh to the cross brace with a small black zip tie that doesn't show at all. Chairs are comfortable and look really nice, don't take up a lot of visual space. Also give the rocking motion I wanted without having actual rockers to take up space and travel as rocking chairs often do. I'm a bit sad they have to be put away in the winter, but I expected that.

Just received these today, and was impressed with how well they were packaged (no damage or scratches) and how easy they were to assemble. The finished chair was fairly light as compared to the chairs they are replacing, but very strong and comfortable to sit in. I was happy to see that they are black, because I had been under the impression that they would be green, and was willing to just deal with it. I am hoping they will be long-lived. If I have any problems I will update this review accordingly.

Good handle, I like the business end as well. This is an easy to grip, fast to do it's job, muddler. The connection between the handle and the masher seems a little loose - I suspect it won't stay attached forever. But I don't make old-fashioneds more than a few times a year. Since it is nice looking and friendly to use, and I will attempt to repair it, if neccessary some day.

What a great buy. When you get a bit older, it's hard with bad knees and such to have to run out to pick up cards for grandchildren and your own children month after month. I've tried to buy in advance but with a large family you sometimes forget a birthday or two.I have these on hand now for everyone. The Debbie Mumm cards are so cute and the larger birthday cards are wonderful. You can write your own message along with what is printed inside. All the cards are attractive and beat going to the store and paying the prices out there. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

These chairs are very comfortable, but need to be shorter. My girlfriend is 5' tall and cannot touch the ground while sitting on this chair. I used to be a welder, so I cut the legs down and re-welded the feet on, now she is comfortable.

Loved the retro look of the chairs but on one of them the back metal mesh wasn't pulled enough so when you rocked back and forth it thumps your back. Wasn't worth going through the hassle of returning it..looks great on my porch

Very sturdy and well built. May need a coat of spray in a couple years but will last for a long time. Now I've got a nice chill spot for my after work brewskie. Cheers!

As I am older than dirt, I was so pleased to see how easily these chairs went together. I had thought that maybe they'd be a trifle stiff, but now I don't think I'll even bother with cushions.I've had 'em for about 3 hours now, and I've managed to spend 2.5 of those hours relaxing in the sun !
