Simple and accurate.
Bought these for blind man. Very simple to use, no buttons to press, just step on and wait to hear your weight. Very happy with purchase.

Talking scales
Bought this for my husband who is partially sighted. No problem setting it up. Is elegant looking.Voice telling weight ok. I read somewhere in the Reviews that one had to tap/knock scales for them to work - this is not true (unless there is another model out there) - just stand on it …. it says “hello”then gives you your weight. No problem. I would recommend this item.

Talking scales
The scales are awesome, I’m registered blind and don’t need to ask my wife to read the scales anymore. It is accurate and a good speach

PARTIAL SIGHTED, OR BLIND EXCELLENCE
Excellent Quality, Excellent Accuracy, Different weights. Had the same before, lasted a long time over 10 years. The new model is updated and still a reasonable price.

Okay, but definitely not great
I’m often disappointed with some of the RNIB products, but there often isn’t an awful lot of alternative choices. This is great in that it reads out your weight, and will do so in stones and pounds or kilograms. It’s not always so accurate. Within the space of one minute it’s all been my weight was for different things. Also, the control buttons on the bottom to adjust the volume and settings are not very easy to locate for visually impaired people The screen would be a little easier to read if it was backlit. If you have light coloured flooring then stick some dark or coloured paper in the window so that you can see where the scales are located better. The battery cover keeps falling off on mine so I have to tape it on. It was cheaper to buy them from Amazon but it was from the RNIB website
