Great ergonomics, tends not to last
I use CDI torque keys constantly. I am constantly changing stems on bicycles and setting the torque, so my CDI torque keys have gotten a lot of use. I've been using this particular brand of torque key for close to 10 years.A few comments based on my experience:1. The ergonomics are great. I have a Ritchey torque key and I refuse to use it. The Ritchey does not fit in my hand properly and it is actually difficult to turn. The CDI fits squarely in my palm and is easy to get a firm comfortable grip without it causing hot spots in your hand.2. If you're tightening lots of bicycle bolts, especially the stem and bars, 5Nm is pretty standard, and it's just easier to have a preset key around when you're doing lots of tightening. This is tool is indispensable to me.3. The audible snap is much better than the silent click on adjustable torque wrenches. The audible snap just provides much better feedback. It makes lots of bolt installs much more intuitive and more efficient.4. One quibble I have with these keys is that they tend not to last. The handle is cheap plastic and they are a little flimsy. The label badge that's glued on the top of the handle will pop off pretty quickly, which is not a big deal They work fine, but I notice the internal magnet that holds the bit in place has a tendency of becoming dislodged and dropping out, thus making the metal bits constantly fall out of the key. With a lot of use you can expect to get about a year of out of these. I'd personally like something a little better made - and not made in China.5. for 20 bucks they are fine, but the MSRP on these is $35, which is a little pricey when factoring in the relative cheapness of the product and short life span and the fact you probably need to get multiple torque settings to have a complete set.I'm actually looking at changing it up and trying a different brand.

Did just what I needed it to
I bought this to tighten screws that hold individual cutters on my Spiral Helix Cutterhead for my planer. The screws (40 of them) need to be tightened to approx 6NM.The T-Handle allowed easy reach to the screws. The constant torque was easily applied to all screws. The difference between using this tool and a torque wrench is that I would need an adapter to reach the screws in my planer with a torque wrench, AND I'd have to adjust/set the wrench properly (not too hard, but if you don't zero them out after use, I hear they get out of whack), AND this is A LOT cheaper for a high accuracy and high durability tool than a torque wrench that performs at a high level and is also accurate....probably by a factor of 10. For the price, I bought this for use with ONLY my planer without a second thought. It doesn't preclude me from buying a torque wrench later if I need it, since this is so affordable. My alternative would have been to buy a torque wrench at Harbor Freight.....My **guess** is that it would have broken before I got done setting all 40 screws in my planer head.....This tool should last a lifetime of changing screws in my planer head and be perfect everytime with no thinking required.A torque wrench is overkill for my specific need and not worth adjusting/maintaining since this is the only constant torque application I have. If you need a large range of different torques, a torque wrench is for you.

Much Simpler than an Adjustable Torque Wrench
Many bike components and accessories mounted on bikes, especially those threaded into aluminum or carbon fiber, need to be tightened to a specific torque range to avoid stripping threads and also avoid having something vibrate loose. This product takes the guess work out of it. There are a few other torque settings available in this same CDI brand t-handle wrench. If you can afford it, get one of each. The handles are color coded so if you can find a paint marker that matches the handle color (like the ones used to mark scuba equipment), you can make it easier to remember which wrench to use by putting a small dot on the bolt heads to identify which handle color torque wrench to grab. Then trailhead/parking-lot adjustments and accessory swaps go even more quickly.

Does what it is supposed to do
Bought this in hopes of making things easier for me while fixing and tightening bolts on my bikes. One never knows how much tight bolts should be screwed in, and there is always the fear that it gets tightened too much stripping the bolt or too tight thus compromising the carbon frame. With this, I don't have to worry. If I don't want to go to the maximum torque, I just stop whenever I think it it tight enough. If I want to go to maximum torque, I keep going until it "breaks". No more fears! Construction of the tool is solid and the bits are interchangeable to accommodate different size bolts. Overall, good product that gets the job done.

Handy...
I have this tool in the 4, 5, and 6 Nm renditions to work on my carbon fiber bike. I find them to be effective and easy to use...which is all you can ask of a tool. It may not be the most precise torque tool...but I'm okay with that.Oh, and just so you know, all mine came with the torque rating stamped and printed on the handle.

My favorite road bike tool
I just bought a new carbon road bike frame, seat post and bars. This torque tool has been great for a making adjustments during the fitting process. I no longer worry about applying too much torque. I just turn until I hear the pleasant clicking sound signaling 5 Newton Meters. I carry the tool in my back pocket and make adjustments during my long rides. I prefer this over my heavy ratchet torque wrench. I have no complaints. It's easy to use, comfortable feel and is an overall great tool!

Does the trick
Simple and does the job. I thought the Allen key was magnetic and could be replaced but doesn't seem to be so.

Simple and Great
My first torque tool ever, and it works great. Need it as all my bike parts need to be precise - and so far this tool has been great. The fact that you can swap out the allen head for any others is perfect.
