I often use higher end beads or gemstones on my stretch bracelets, and I use this higher quality cord to make sure my bracelets stay intact when I wear them. Tie in a square knot and dab with a little glue, and you're good to go!

I used cord to repair a favorite bracelet. It was easy to string beads and, so far, is working great. Somewhat difficult to make knot that held. I made several knots and pulled tight. That seems to work. Have only worn about a month but am hoping this cord will last longer than original which broke after 2 years of occasional use. Happy with purchase.

I'm not sure why anyone would complain about this product not holding knots but I made 9 bridesmaid bracelets and the knots in the elastic held without any issues whatsoever! I will definitely use this product again!

I purchased because of its reviews & I'm not disappointed. I purposely pull hard on my finished work - there is no breakage; it holds its own shrinking back to its natural state with no bead gaps. Because its Powercord I can rest assured its not going to break so I can confidently gift/sell it. Also, you can string smaller 3mm beads easily.

I researched the "strongest stretchy cord for jewelry making" and Powercord, time and again came up in my search. I've made several bracelets already, with natural stones, and it holds its shape, and seems to be really strong. I do plan on making healing stone bracelets to sell in my healing practice, and this brand is what I've seen many professional jewelry makers use. So far, I have found it to be much stronger than the stretch magic that can be bought at craft stores.

We used this for a holiday craft event for a large group of children and the knots did not hold at all. I tried various ways of tying them and I felt terrible watching the kids work on necklaces and bracelets only to have them pull a bit and have the beads go flying across the floor. I would recommend anyone buy another type of cord instead.
