These laces are perfect. The length is accurate and a perfect match for my originals. These aren't too thin and they look great, with a rich brown color and nice sheen from the wax. Excellent quality at a good price.

Used for British tan dress shoes and color and length are perfect. Seem to be of quality and I double knot my shoestrings so I hope they last better than the orginals.

Shoelaces have always been such a trivial product in my eyes. What was ever the point of buying new laces for my shoes, such a hassle which is greater than the reward. I finally bought a pair of laces when the trashy ones on my favorite pair of dress shoes broke off. And let me tell you, this may have been one of the greatest footwear purchases of my life! My old ones were so cheap and raggedy that I could never tie them tight or they would come apart. It made me resent going to a party or event because I would inevitably would be stuck retying them over and over. Finally with these high quality laces, I can feel comfortable wearing them tightly, have no problem with them untying, and feel good in some stylish shoes! Although these laces are great, my main problem (if you can call it that) is that the black color I ordered appears as a slate gray in comparison to my black dress shoes. But if you are willing to spend $10 on a pair of laces, they should definitely be these!

These show laces were supposed to be 39 inches, but in actuality they are 40 inches. I compared the laces of one set and it also turns out that one lace is an 1/8 inch longer than the other, not noticeable, but for goodness sake, get something correct as far as the sizing. For quality comparison sake, I also purchased a set of Kiwi brand laces and they were exactly the size they said they were and each lace was the same length so they have better quality control than this brand. I think this brand needs quality check there their suppliers.Don't order more than one size at a time because there is nothing on the package that indicates the size and you will end up measuring them if you get them mixed up with another order.OK, so the bad stuff is out of the way. The waxed laces are exactly that, waxed, so they are stiffer and shiny than plain cloth ones.They pass the strength test so they won't break when tying my shoelaces.While the measured sizes are annoying, at least it wasn't short and it's only over by 1 inch which won't affect their intended use.If a basic product like shoelaces wants the perfect score, the company need to produce a perfect product and it's not like there is a lot of technical requirements to cut the same length and correct length each time.
