Not all light stands are created equal. I have an assortment of light stands (all sizes, different brands) these by far, are the best I’ve had so far in the last 7 years of pro photography use.Super convenient, space saving, durable.I use them with, pretty much, everything from offcamera flash (w/softbox) to 18” fotodiox LED light attached to them and they have not failed me yet.The footprint isn’t super wide, which is perfect if your shooting in smaller spaces (mostly indoors).If you’re planning on using them outdoors, you’re gonna want a larger footprint than these, but if small, portable and convenient is what you’re looking for; look no further. You found the winner.These three stands are stacked together in the bag always in my car.

I can fit three of these stands in a normal-sized suitcases and still have room for clothes. They are very light and fairly durable.

I bought three of these light stands. They work for my purpose which is inside. I'm not a professional photographer, but wanted to have lighting for both video and photos. The stands are well made and designed. Yes, they could be knocked over easily so if that is a concern go for the bigger version. But, I don't have much space and didn't want to trip over a long leg. It is easier to move around shorter legs for me. If you are going to use these outside, that might work on a non-windy day. I love Manfrotto equipment. This is a great product for my purposes. I'd like someday to get the 3 pack of the 1004bac's.

These are perfect for the size. I carry them everywhere. The fold and connect into the perfect shape and support a lot of light for their size. I have used them with 8 lb studios with umbrellas and soft boxes. Maybe the max weight for their size, but still felt confident in their performance. I use them mostly with speeed lights and soft boxes - perfect for that situation. They are very very convenient and perform admirably even on uneven ground in the mountains.

These stands work well. I really like the quick stack system. It binds my stands in one unit, which I then put in a light stand bag. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.Recommended

These light stands are great. I bought 4 of them. I was a little worried because I use them for large softbox's with 5 bulbs. I worried about the weight, since the legs have a little less reach than my other stands. I needed them though, because these are more compact and better to travel with.I am happy to report that they are more sturdy than my previous light stands, and hold the weight of my softbox's with ease. I love that they connect together. I love these stands and highly recommend them!

stacking them up and holding them in place no longer works. Plastic hook that holds them together is of poor quality, get's broken quickly. disappointed.
