These worked out well to complete the "carbon look" (which is really very much the same actual appearance as real CF)which I had I started by replacing all the sticky pull handles and window button surrounds. Tips: I removed the cheap double sided tape, and instead used a few small dabs of 3M weather strip adhesive to bond the "carbon" skin to the OEM lever pull surrounds. Additionally, because the hole for the lever is slightly larger on the new " skin" than the OEM surround piece, I laid them on top of each other, and traced the larger new hole onto the OEM piece with a ball point pen, then removed material accordingly with Dremel and sanding drums. I also used a razor the trace the position of the small slit that the optical fiber lighting tube uses on the OEM peice to illuminate the opening lever after dark. I carefully cut that 1" x 1/8" slit out with a Dremel cut-off disc so the light tube feature was not lost.

I bought a set of these for my F10 BMW 550i. Honestly I went to go put them on my driver and passenger front doors and didn't use that adhesive. I have been driving with them for over a week without the adhesive and they stay on. I honestly just did it to see how it would look. They can slide a little if you yank the door but still stay on lol. Nice.To me that was a good surprise. That's awesome because then when I'm ready I can apply the adhesive, it's also a good way of seeing whether they will make a good fit. I will say the carbon fiber pattern looks great with my black interior.If you're looking for inside door handle inserts, these are the ones to grab for your BMW.Daniel
