Alarm raised without doing research
Regarding the puzzling designation "non-potable" which NO LONGER APPEARS on the product label, it would have been better to do a little research rather than trash a good product. I called the company. The owner said Minnesota regulators had required him to add "non-potable" to the label to convey to buyers that the product is not to be drunk but only to be used under the tongue -- they were trying to say the product is "non-drinkable" and made the unfortunate choice to call it "non-potable." They did not mean that the product was made with contaminated water!!! Yeesh. This very confusing designation required by the state was a real SMH. But my bottle of purslane tincture arrived today and the label no longer says "non-potable;" just says "Use sublingually (under tongue)." So maybe the state has relented. Anyway the tincture has a pleasant, mild taste and I'm very happy to find a high quality locally grown purslane.

Quality product
Came just in time. I needed it as I had a secondary infection from a horsefly bite and broke out in hives. My symptoms went away the day after I started using it. Tastes good too. Not like other tinctures I use.

NON POTABLE
This will be he easiest review of all time. It says Non-potable right on the label. FYI; straight from the dictionary; Non-potable is not of drinking quality. What more do you need to know?

NOT SUITABLE FOR DRINKING! -----> OK FOR USE UNDER TONGUE? -----> SOUNDS LIKE DOUBLE TALK!
I'm one of those people who actually read the label, especially before consuming a product. On the side of the bottle that is not visible in the on-line pictures it clearly states "non-potable."Non-potable means NOT SUITABLE FOR DRINKING!OSHA's Sanitation standard, 29 CFR 1910.141(b)(2)(i), requires:Outlets for non-potable water, such as water for industrial or firefighting purposes, shall be posted or otherwise marked in a manner that will indicate clearly that the water is unsafe and is not to be used for drinking, washing of the person, cooking, washing of food, washing of cooking or eating utensils, washing of food preparation or processing premises, or personal service rooms, or for washing clothes.Nonpotable water is water that does not meet OSHA's Sanitation standard for potable water. OSHA's Sanitation standard, at 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(2), defines potable water as: Water that meets the standards for drinking purposes of the State or local authority having jurisdiction, or water that meets the quality standards prescribed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. If the water from any of the faucets you described does not meet this definition, then you need to mark those faucets according to 29 CFR 1910.141(b)(2)(i).NOT RECOMMENDED
