I chose the siren in the 120 volt option so that I could wire it to my motion detector located near my work van. I installed a on off switch to keep the siren from going off when I was around my van in the evening leaving the motion detector light still working. Prior to going to bed I would turn on the switch that controls the siren. First night it went off multiple times do to night visiting four legged critters. This siren is loud!!!!! Can't comment on it's reliability though. After getting up multiple times the first night do to those four legged critters I've shut it off. But as to how loud it is, it's LOUD!!!!!

This is very small. Does not put out a lot of noise? A Shop vacuum cleanerwill put out more noise. This is my opinion, should be use as a great toy.

worked as advertised

I have it hooked up to drive starlings off the suet feeder. When I turn it on via Wemo it is not always enough to scare them away from the feeder. Better than what I had before though.

I have racoons and possums hanging around my front porch. I hooked this up to a remote control so when I see them I can make this siren go off. It works perfect! After two nights. No more pests!!! For a small package it is loud and annoying at the same time. I love it!

Sounds like a loud high pitch shop vac. Not what I was looking for to alert neighbors of an intruder. The plastic rotor is rubbing on the metal so there were some plastic shavings sticking out after running once meaning they don't test run each one.

Great product

I was using it to trace circuits, plug it in and hit the breakers.... when the sound stopped... boom that was the breaker.... Well it lasted 5 min then a big puff of smoke started coming out of it.... Its spins like a fan inside of it
