The best customer service and product
I ordered two sets of the 5 gallon water tanks and I couldn't be happier. They stack perfectly in my garage and are very compact. I did have an issue and I reached out to Legacy Food Storage, spoke with Amy, and she was very pleasant. She quickly resolved the issue that day! Top notch product and customer service. I wish all companies had a customer service department like Legacy.

Everything I needed...with extra caps that had the holes cut...excellent seller
This is a fantastic setup. It had all the supplies I needed for a successful session of setting up some water storage for long term. They even included 2 extra caps that had the holes drilled out so you could install the tap. This makes it easy to reseal your jug with the solid cap again. They included instructions and they included just the right amount of water treatment and the cap wrench was super helpful during the process to get a great seal. The only thing I had to do was drill out the breather hole (not necessary, but I wanted to get this done now so I did not have to do it with water in it in the future.) If I ever need to buy more in the future it will be from this seller because I know I will get everything I need!!!The jugs are stout and could be stacked 3 high from my experience.

Satisfied with product and vendor
I ordered the four tank, 20 gallon kit and am happy with my selection. I quickly received:* Four 5 gallon tanks with sealed (undrilled) vent ports* Four "casual" caps which press on the fill spout (helpful while filling and treating the water)* Five threaded storage caps (One cap already drilled out for the spigot)* One spigot which seems pretty good* One strap wrench* One kit of Aquamira treatment drops and helpful custom mixing instructions. It took more effort than I'd like to admit squeezing the solution from the tiny treatment bottles one drop at a time. After dispensing enough to treat all 20 gallons, it feels like there isn't much left in them. Feels like a good value though. They feel sturdy when stacked, and didn’t leak after really tightening the caps. Recommended. Thanks!

Water Storage
If you are reading this, you know what these are for - medium to long term emergency storage for water. These seem quite sturdy and have everything you want - They are sturdy, apparently made of food safe plastic, stackable, and it includes a spout that can be used with the container on its side. By the way 5 gallons of water is pretty heavy, unless it’s a stationary application you don’t want anything bigger - Just stack up what you need. It even comes with a strap type lid wrench that you need to close and open the fill opening. On the slightly negative side, if you want to use the drain vent with the spout you have to have drilled out a hole through the vent (under the lid for the vent). I found a 3/8 inch drill bit is about right. Also, if you want to use the spout, which works fine, you have to drill a hole in the center of the one lid that you screw the spout to. I used 1/2 inch drill bit for that but first I drilled a 3/8 inch pilot hole (it’s tough and thick plastic and it would be hard to drill through with just one drilling.)Like another reviewer recommended, first I drilled out all the vent holes under the little vent screw under the vent cover. Turn the storage container turned on its side, not from the top so the shavings fall on the floor and not into the storage container. I also drilled one storage lid to be able to use the included spout. Then I washed each container with a 1/2 gallon or so of water and ONE single drop of Dawn dishwashing detergent (too much and you will be rinsing almost forever). Then I rinsed repeatedly with a similar amount of clean water until there was no hint of foam. Then I used 1 teaspoon of ordinary (not thickened or perfumed) laundry type chlorine bleach in a similar amount of water, sloshed it around inside and emptied it. And finally I added 1 teaspoon of the chlorine bleach and filled the container and tightly closed the lids.Note I strongly recommend storing these sitting straight up, not on their sides so there is no chance of leakage at all. The lids seem fairly leak tight if you tightly close the lids (main and vent), but no need to run the risk of a slow leak by storing the container on its side.

Love these!
Easy to use and stack well for storage. I just refilled a batch of them at the 5 year storage mark, and the water was still pure.

Excellent for 5-yr Emergency Water Storage (20 gallon kit)
I purchased these for additional emergency water storage that would fit neatly in my garage space. I received these a few days after ordering and the kit came exactly as described and in perfect shape. All of the small kit items such as the lids, spigot, water treatment drops, strap wrench and instructions were nicely packaged in a zip loc bag. The four 5 gallon jugs appear to be very sturdy and durable, but I only give 4 stars for now. I can update these after an Arizona summer. The lids were all anti-tamper allowing you to tell if the lids were opened at a later time. The strap wrench made it easy to tighten the lids for storage. The kit also came with an additional lid for the spigot. NOTE: You will need to drill out the lid for the spigot. After reading through the instructions provided with the kit, I washed and sanitized the four 5 gallon jugs and allowed them to dry. Once filled I used the treatment drops as directed, tightened the lids and stacked them in the garage. Very easy product to set up and the moving is pretty easy with the integrated handle. Just remember full with water these things weigh approx 40 lbs. NOTE: The air vents on the jugs are NOT drilled out. I left mine this way to keep the jugs a little more air tight. When you are ready to use the jugs you will need to puncture the air vent to allow the jugs to drain easily. All in all I recommend the 20 gallon emergency water kit.
