Categorically . . . . Brilliant!
This is visually fantastic, with great sound, and effects. A superb storyline, for all ages in the whole film. Really enjoyed it!

Live action remake
No spoilers, I hope.Most of the Disney live action movies are based on the cartoon and or source material, but have refreshing changes in the screenplay.This movie is basically the same as the cartoon, I didn't notice any changes at all. In fact my daughter decided to watch the Lion King 2 cartoon straight after it, which may support my point.

Good remake of the Lion King
Think it’s a great film remake by DisneyThe first Disney lion king is a cartoon and found it very childish. So decided to buy the new lion king film on dvd for an adult male family member who said he had never seen film, hopefully he will enjoy it ?

Brilliant.
I haven't seen all of the movie due to it being for my other half, but hes watched it 3 times since buying him it so it must be good, and what I have seen of it, it's very impressive, the storyline seems to be exactly the same as the original?Overall, brilliant DVD that has been well worth the purchase

This version is better than the animation by far.
Saw the original but this is nothing like the original , this is not an animation but greatly surpasses the original. The storylines exactly the same but graphically this version brings the story to life and the animals look realistic enough to convince you they ARE real. A good movie to sit and watch as a family.
