have since a few years been looking out for a cleaner lube for road and commuter use. means in practice going for wax-based rather than oil-based. a number of these unfortunately do not work as well as synthetic oil when temps go down towards freezing, one example being squirt low-temp giving immense friction in winter conditions.the banana slip all weather lube here keep chain very smooth running even in the really cold, and for typically 200 km per application. also it is reasonably clean. for example no problems handling it with fingers when i took off the rear wheel roadside to fix a flat the other day.one good thing about wax-based lube is cleaning; just boil the chain in water no additives. no need for white spirit or other solubles hard to dispose of in an environmentally acceptable way. you should however get rid of the factory lube to start with. i do that with a dishwasher tablet in boiling water.this lube is cheaper than the acclaimed tungsten variety of the same lube, and i cant really detect much difference in performance. not spreading tungsten in nature is supposedly a good thing, not to mention a number of other lubes containing teflon. ouch for those.

First tried Banaslip All Weather lube late last year. Have now ridden it for a full winter season in Ireland so s decent test in conditions ranging from cold, dry, rain, and very dirty road conditions.This is great lube. Keeps chain quiet and clean even when the bike is covered in mud from riding through dirty and wet farming roads. Also seems to extend chain life somewhat, although a longer test period would confirm this chain service life improvement.Easy to clean chain after use as well, hot soapy (dish soap) water is sufficient. Purchased for use on my commuter and was not expecting much but its great so good in fact iv cleaned and applied on my mountain bike too its far better than mucoff dry iv been using for ages Very impressed. I warmed it up to make it super thin to apply and it dries on amazing, clean and long lasting and not much wait time after applying

Turned up all good but won't be buying again as the bottle was less than half full I will be getting from the shop like before and get a full bottle

Better to just use wd40. This had my chain squeeking after a day or two. Smell nice but not very good as a lasting lubricant. Great name but not so great product.won't buy again

Easy to apply squeezy bottle - so no overspray as per aerosols.Small handy sized bottle good for taking on trips etc.It smells very nice too.

Read the description as that seems to cause some confusion. The advert clearly states how much is in the bottle and that is what you get. I warmed it slightly and then applied it to a chain that had previously been waxed. Worked well and no complaints.
