Good buy
We have this on a 2002 toyota tacoma which has only a 5 foot bed. This product give proper support a couple feet from the truck.

I'll never use it
It's a well made product but I'll never use it and after putting it together and throwing away the box it came in it will never get used. I installed it in the vertices position to the receiver hitch on my golf cart hoping to load it on top of my golf cart. I used it one time and it's way more work than I care to do to go kayaking

Overall decent product for the price.
The vertical tube insert wobbles and rattles severely. Had they chosen the same size tubes and inserts as the horizontal ones it would not have been this bad. Also it is painted and not powder coated.Overall decent built for the price and functional.

Very useful
If you don't have access to or want to bring a trailer this is great for lighter items. Won't hold a ton of weight but great for that odd 12' piece. Comes apart for compact storge.

So much better than using my trailer!
I have a fourteen foot long sea kayak that I love to paddle, but it is a bit long for convenient conveyance. I've been using a Rack-n-Roll trailer, which is great, but that truck/trailer combo is long and doesn't work well in some tight little access areas that aren't formal boat ramps. This is a fantastic solution - very easy to set up and use! And, compared to a trailer, a very reasonable price. I'm very happy with it and I'm sure I will be using it often.

Good choice
Chose this rather than an over the cab design. I'm 73. I realized an over the cab rack was going to be difficult for me to install, and I wasn't sure I could lift and remove lumber, ladders, and such. Very satisfied with this choice. Light, easy to assemble, easy to store.
