Good product. Recommended
Great product, well made, operates consistently. Must have the proper thermometer and you had best know what you are doing as this thing gets SUPER hot. This inside of the pot gets upwards of 800-900 degrees! The base and temp control remains cool enough to the touch. Paper combustion takes place at a flash point of roughly 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Using the properly designed thermometer is essential and this unit holds temperature steady. I've used it several times already with bluing salts with excellent results.

Great 20 pound melting pot
Furnace works great. Melts lead quickly and easy access to ladle molten lead into mold.

Great Value
Good value for the money. I needed another alloy pot for casting bullets but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This pot holds as much as my other more expensive one and holds temperature as well also. When the other pot gives up the ghost, I'll replace it with one of these.

works well for pewter and lead
melted 10 lbs of pewter without issue (in spite of the paper that comes with the unit stating it was not for pewter).melted a pair of old lead diving belts (over 40 lbs) i got for free and worked well (not all 40 at one pass).I had no issues of overheating as others have stated.this unit is a decent one my purposes.

Melts lead.
Melts lead quickly. The ones with the pour spout always get clogged on me so I ordered this one without it. Works great. I can pour my weights nice and quickly so I can go fishing quicker. The adjustable temp is nice because not all lead is pure lead and it's easier to get it to pure with the different temps.

Haven’t used it yet, but looks like quality built.
It looks good so far and I am replacing my old Lyman mini mag, that took 45 minutes to get to 600 degrees

Works well. Like that you can set to a certain number, once you figure out which number coincides with the temperature you’re after it becomes fool proof.

If You Need A Good Dependable Lead Melter
Excellent lead melter. And you do not have to worry about a bottom pour spout that empties the lead everywhere! Made over 600 bullets in about an hour already. If you like a good product at a great price, buy it. You can pay more, wait longer to get it, but you can't get better quality and a better price.
