I’ve been using this book for several years. Everyone loves getting a loaf of homemade bread and this technique means I don’t have to work so hard to make it. I mostly do the PMDO technique, and the loaves that it makes are a thing of beauty!

Really Easy Way to Bake Delicious Bread
This book is great for first-timer bakers as well as people who've been baking bread for years. Steve Gamelin describes using simple ingredients and techniques in a very casual, yet informative way. The resulting bread is delicious with a very nice texture. It's amazing that such high-quality bread can be made without kneading. Recipes are also included for rolls, pretzels and pizza. I've been baking bread for a long time and was looking for a good no-knead method, and I'm very happy with this book. If I could, I would give it 10 stars.

Really glad I bought this book!
I’ve been baking bread for close to 40 years. LoveThe challenge of sourdough baking, and other advanced baking techniques, but life has taken another turn, and doctor visits, clinics, and full time care of my husband has limited my time. Needed a loaf the other day, but feared I didn’t have time. Then I remembered this man’s videos on YouTube, and followed recipe for his cinnamon raisin bread (husbands favorite). Took me all but a few short minutes to put together, and in the morning baked! My husband loves this bread, and I’ve found a new tool in my kitchen that will aid in my quest for Whole Foods, and healthier alternatives to store bought! Thank you Steve!! Excellent book!

An awesome bread making book!
I found Steve on Youtube and learned so much. This book is beginner friendly and so easy to do. I never in a million years thought I’d be making homemade bread. Let alone delicious homemade bread. I highly recommend this book and watching his YouTube video to get you going.My first bread was yummy!

Very Simple, Delicious and Easy to follow.
My first bread from Steve’s My No-knead Cookbook. Beer Bread. I used dark beer, hence the dark color. The video said to bake at 400 and the book said 450. I went with 450. The recipe calls for 14 oz of beer which I used but next time I’ll only open one beer and use water for the other two ounces. Otherwise, I am starting too early! 🍺This bread baked beautifully and tasted delicious. It was very easy. Once I go back to work this method of baking bread will be a lifesaver. One other very important point.. as I am learning to bake bread I am discovering that the humidity in San Diego must be quite high because nearly every bread recipe I try needs about 2 ounces less of water than the recipe calls for. I followed this recipe exactly except for the exception of needing a bit more flour because of the humidity issue. I really like the cookbook. It is true, many of the recipes are similar but that is kind of the beauty of it, it makes it easy to follow and gives you lots of options. I am glad I purchased it. If you are new to baking or don’t have much time to watch dough rise then this is the book for you!
