June Gold 72 Mechanical Pencils, 0.7 mm HB Lead, 2 Lead Dispensers with 220 Refills & 16 Erasers, Break Resistant, Convenient Side Click & Soft Non-Slip Grip

So this is exactly what I was looking for. I got higher quality pencils and my kids kept 'misplacing' them.... so I bought more. This time I kept the really nice ones for me, and bought this pencil set for my kids. They are good enough quality to use for a long time, and when they get lost, it doesn't break the bank! I think this is a great compromise... you give up some quality, and gain a great deal of quantity!

These are great pencils. They come in 4 bright colors. I gave everyone in my house a different color so we wouldn’t mix them up and fight about who’s is who’s lol. The only thing I don’t like is that you cannot put an eraser on without taking the clip off (and that’s what makes them pretty), seems like a design flaw. However they do come with a few extra erasers, but we all know how quick we use up the eraser on mechanical pencils so would be nice to be able to put one on the top without having to remove the clip. They feel pretty sturdy yet lightweight and write very smooth. They are comfortable in my hand. The lead breaks sometimes but that’s more me pressing too hard rather then the quality. I would purchase these again, luckily I won’t have to because this came with plenty of pencils and refills on lead. My daughter uses her pencils daily at school. Hers have broken (hers are pink) and she cannot get a new eraser on because she has used so much of it and can’t get it out. She uses her pencils A LOT so not surprising they break. We just throw that one out and give her a new one to use.

Was buying packs of cheaper pencils. Just the weight of my books would crush them and render them unusable. I decided to go with this brand and I'm very happy I did. These pencils work great, they're ergonomical and have a rubberized sleeve on them for comfort. They cost a tad bit more but are well worth it as they are much sturdier than the old ones I was buying. Haven't broken one yet and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love these! My students fell in love with them on site. They work great and ate very durable.

My rating is based on a cost/benefit ratio. These are relatively low quality pens, as many reviewers have pointed out, but the price is also low.If these were priced similarly to other mechanical pens, I would give them only a star or 2, but for the cost I am willing to put up with quite a lot.In general, the build and fit quality is poor. The clips fall off very easily, the erasers fall out frequently, and the lead advance side buttons sometimes fall out or else lock up. The 0.7mm leads are very fragile (compared to other 0.7 mm leads) and write quite faintly.Some of the problems can be fixed. I plan to go through the 72 pencils and (a) crazy glue the clips on and (b) replace the leads with better quality ones. The other problems are perhaps harder to fix, but less severe. After this relatively simple exercise, I expect to have a multi-year supply of adequate mechanical pencils at a low overall cost.

I liked that they are easy and useful at any emergency. I use them for my classes everyday. Sometimes students have no pencils to work on their assignments, or the tip of their pencil brakes easy. But having these mechanical pencils handy, I been able to get the most of the schooldays. Thank you!
