Witness to the JFK murder who saw shooter behind picket fence
I highly recommend this book for fresh evidence on a witness who, previously reported by Jim Marrs in his book Crossfire, now extensively researched and revealed in this new book by two outstanding authors who have done excellent research. This man saw with his own eyes a shooter behind the picket fence aim a rifle, shoot JFK, saw a puff of smoke from it, and they calmly exit the scene with an accomplice who took the rifle from him. If you are serious about new evidence in the JFK case, this book is a must-read. Clearly detailed with photographs and extensive detail, I give it my highest recommendation.

The authors did a fantastic job of putting into words what Ed Hoffman saw that day. He was a very important witness; and the authors provided backing, pictures and diagrams related to not only where witness were located, but events preceding and during the event. The book fulfilled it’s mission fully. Great for researchers and casual readers alike.

Great book
If you need to know if there was more than one shooter that killed JFK - this book answers that question.

Superb Rendering of the TRUTH
I was in high school when JFK was murdered and I witnessed the elimination of Lee Harvey Oswald by Ruby LIVE on television. From that moment I realized something was terribly wrong with the story we were told regarding this outrageous abuse of power in American history, the murder of a President to satisfy a lunatic agenda which appears to have worked FAR TOO WELL up to the present day. Ed Hoffman's father was correct, Ed would have been among those witnesses who suffered mysterious and sudden death had he been able to convey the information he saw. There's a time and place for everything, this is the TIME for the TRUTH to be told about the murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy by the establishment who hated him because of his actions during the Cuban missile crisis. We're not ALL IDIOTS here in the USA, we know JFK was deliberately and carefully eliminated and we DESERVE THE FACTS. Of course, we won't get them. The bottom line is we cannot trust the government, not then, not now.

Interesting Book
First of all, kudos to the authors for including all the maps & diagrams, as it really helped to "picture" the scene in Nov 63. Also, many thanx to them for devoting an entire chapter to Ed Hoffman, his life, & his family. I had heard of Mr Hoffman before but no one had taken the time to really introduce us to who he is as a person. About the only criticism I have of this book is the conflicting testimony of the people (Ed + railroad workers) who were standing up there commenting about the train that went by right after the assassination; the authors say Ed told them the train was headed south, then it changes to north, & back again! Same for the railroad workers. Hopefully this is just a typo. Also, I wish they would've told us who posed for the cover photo (& I looked all thru the photo credits too). Additionally, concerning the photo of Ed on the back cover - he is obviously signing, but they neglected to tell us what he's saying. The rest of the criticisms deal with the education Ed received at the School for the Deaf. I believe the school should've taught their students reading, writing, & lip reading. Hopefully that has changed in all these years! Also, many deaf people have learned to speak. I used to have a neighbor who was deaf & he could speak quite well, I had no trouble understanding him. All this as an afterthought - it would've made Ed's life so much easier. The frustration of not being able to successfully communicate must have been unbearable.

poorly written
I've read a lot of books on the Kennedy assassination and this was the worst. I believe in the theory but it's s story I've heard before and offered nothing new. I returned this book.
