Rugged, Inexpensive Combat Boot
Good quality, well-constructed boot. They are somewhat spacious inside, but that's fine because they won't be too tight after you install some comfort padding. They are an inexpensive combat boot, folks, so don't expect them to feel like a pair of $150 hiking boots - and they do take awhile to break in. If you have tender little tootsies, these may not be the boot for you. If you are searching for something cheap, yet rugged, go ahead and grab a pair.

Okay shoes
My son wanted them for his birthday he likes them but he said they will be rough and are not water resistant. They are true to size

Came with defect on toe.
These are great boots in all ways other than this small defect on the most viewable part of the boot. If I were too polish them this would stand out even more. I requested a return and I will report back on how that all went.UpdateGot the replacement pair but it had a mark in the same spot. Not near as bad but still a defect. Photo coming soon.

Way oversized, more than advertized
Ordered size 8 which should be 10 inch long, there 8 can in at 11.25 inches, which is an 11 and one half. Will be returning them.

Good for hiking and soft ground, bad for pavement
I like these boots a lot, with a few caveats. I wear men's 9.5, so went with the 8. However, they are definitly still big on me. I usually wear two pairs of thick socks with these as advised by the manufacturer and it definitly makes them much more comfortable. Don't expect a ton of arch support or any cushioning, but the ankle support is nice. No cushioning and the flexible soft sole means these are terrible for walking on pavement. The soft rubber soles wear down quick and the lugs tend to get pressed into your feet when you step. However, the sole is actually really great for soft ground. The deep lugs keep you from slipping on loose dirt and the soft, flexible soles help give grip on rocks and the like. I also really appreciate the ankle support when hiking.if you're gonna get these, get them to use as hiking boots, order a size and a half to two sizes down, and wear thick socks. I haven't found any boots for this price that I like more for hiking. Just not on pavement so much.

Designed for the Jungle, Fit for Everything Else
Like the title says, they are good for a whole lot more than just the jungle. For being combat boots, they are quite comfortable when worn with good socks. Like most people have said, if you don't plan on wearing the boots as intended (a pair or 2 of wool socks on), suggest getting 1-1.5 size smaller than your normal size.

Blisters for Days
Look great and the quality seems ok but that's where the positives end. I've used these boots in competitive airsoft matches twice now (wood land and CQC) and they've killed my feet more times than the enemy. The hard black ridge along the heel rubs like crazy even when wearing TWO pairs of thick socks. I'm switching back to flexible hiking boots to save my feet. Looking cool is not worth the blisters. They also pinch the front when squatting and make an annoying "squishing air sound" while walking (the air inside the shoe is forced out the tiny side air holes when they bend with each step). I would not but again
