The New York Times Greatest Hits of Thursday Crossword Puzzles: 100 Medium Puzzles Paperback – October 23, 2018

I only do New York Times puzzles. Thursdays are my favorite, with their tricks and quirks. This smaller size of book is great for taking with me. Whenever they put out a new edition, I buy it! Keep them coming, NYT!

Great for taking on the plane.

If you are good at word games and have some experience with more challenging puzzles this is a sweet spot. Takes a little getting used to their “tricks” and style, but very entertaining.

It is funny to me that all of the inside pages are upside down!

I bought this for gifting to my crossword addicted wife. She loves doing these fairly difficult puzzles. She knocks off two a day and wondered aloud “What Will I do when I’m finished with these?”. That gave me the idea to buy a book of Sunday Rainy Day Crosswords. Highly recommended!

I have always loved the Thursday crosswords due to their unique themes, a clue to which is always given in the title of the puzzle. This one leaves out the titles! There is usually a hint within the clues, but it would have been very simple to include the titles and make this more like the experience of doing them in the NY Times.

As regular NYT puzzlers, my husband and I enjoy the puzzle books from the NYT. This is definitely Thursday level. Lots of fun to solve. We've probably done them all before, because we've been doing NYT crosswords for years, but these are still an enjoyable challenge.
