Absolute game changer
Initially, I was using just the scrubbing rod that came with my hope gun cleaning set. Now I’m starting with the scrubber and running the snake through after and it’s as clean as a whistle. Saves a ton of time and headache.

Not as advertised
The product picture clearly shows two sets of brass brushes in the bore snake. I was disappointed that it only had one set, but it still does a very good job cleaning the bores on my shotgun.

Used these for years
I have several for different rifles, but wanted one for a Benelli I won that would fit in a field case. Takes up very little room and it works well.

Easy to use, leaves polished finish in barrel
I know some people only use a bore rope, but I'm not a fan of running this through a very dirty barrel. I always run a patch soaked in a CLP to get out the main burnt powder. Then I put a few drops of the Clenzoil on the wire brush and run this through a few times. It leaves the barrel like a mirror without fouling the majority of the 'rope'. Well worth it.
