Needed to replace a broken sensor -Put both in place works fine - like new

This was easy to install, but it would not work. Sensor light would not come on as they should. I didn't return this item because I reused the brackets with my old sensors. Old sensors worked but new sensors wouldn't even light up as the instructions said they should.

Over all, a good product and easy to use.

Took the sensors out of the box and hooked them to the head unit to make sure they worked and NO LIGHTS!!! Panic ensued immediately. So I got back on my order info for the product info, found that it was for my brand, okay. Went down and read the reviews for the sensors and found one that the lights did not come on for his either. APPARENTLY... The C-peoples wired the thing backwards inside the sensors. At least they were both wired the same. I went back out and tried them and they worked fine but the little clips that came with them are J-U-N-K. Mistakely I used them and when I finished wiring the door up to the head unit, it did not light them up AGAIN! Took those connections apart and twisted the wires together, Now they work great as designed, I guess. At least the door goes up and down n ow without blinking. TELL somebody somewhere that the darn things could be wired backwards!

The wires are only 4 foot long. And will not reach garage door opener. So you have to go out and buy new wires also.
