This clasp looks much better in person. It is not Balinese silver by any stretch of the imagination but it looks very nice for what it is. You cannot open the rings. They are simply not made to be opened. You have to attach the finding to your necklace with your own jump rings.

These are well crafted jewelry findings. I bought them for bracelets. They were a little tight for hooking together, but I was able to an adjust them. Plan to purchase again.

This is no kind of silver! maybe Tibetan silver plated! They snap right in half if you try to bend or adjust them at all! Useless junk if you ask me ........ looks like some kind of pewter on the inside, after it snaps in half when you try to adjust it! Sad purchase indeed! It looked ok, but when I started working with it, that's when I found all of these problems.... when you put in Sterling Silver in the search box, these should not come up, only 925 or better should come up...AMAZON!!!!! I've gotten screwed many times by believing that if I search sterling silver and then buy something that comes up....I will get , Sterling Silver! Not so.......and yes I read the description.....it just says silver, but it comes up when you put in sterling.....
