QWORK 3/8"-16 Iron Plate Nut, 12-Piece Set T-nut with Round Base Carbon Steel T-Nuts, Furniture Hardware Flange Insert Female Thread T-Nut

I'm using these tnuts as fender washers to mount casters to a shelf unit not designed for casters. The shelf is held down well with no flex, bending or breaking from the tnuts.The threads are clean and complete, they function perfectly, hold well beyond my expectations and have been easy to use.Getting 25 for $15 is a fantastic value.

These do the job, but they are not a tight fit. Not sure if they are supposed to be loose or it’s just the nature of this particular type of fastener. They are solidly made. I gave these 5 stars because even though they are loose, the package includes screws!

The only reason I didn't giveit 5 stars is that Inow have to go buy the screws that attach it to the panel. These screws would have cost the manufacturer pennies but will cost me a few dollars and a trip to the store.

Seems to be good quality metal. Not sure how it will stand up to corrosion over time.

just what I needed

I ordered 3/8 and got 5/16. I didn't have time to wait on a return/replacement so I ordered the same product elsewhere and sent these back. Nothing wrong with the product itself.

I am using the nut to create a drill-powered caulking gun that I found on Instructables. The nut worked fantastically well for that purpose. The only problem I had was screwing the nut to the gun, but that was more a problem of the gun's tight confines than the nut. Overall, really great for my purpose.
