Beware of fallen knives!
I am not a TradeStation riding scalper, glued to the screen during the trading hours and make a kill with a few ticks of stock or commodity price. I am also no Warren Buffett, who buys millions of shares and then keeps them for decades. I am just trying to play it slow and easy and safe and make extra money for retirement. Yet, after reading this book, I discovered multiple issues with my "safe" investment approach. Even trading ETFs can result in loss of profit by poor timing, missing trends, or focusing on buying into "deals," or the next secret tip of some high-priced advisory subscription service. This book is excellent and easy to understand, with plenty of color charts, proving that the Ichimoku charts (that stockharts.com offers free) are an amazing tool to look into the past, future and make a good judgment of the present state of any security. It helps avoid buying early into the fallen stocks with a much better timing (instead of trying to catch the "fallen knife") and only if they are over the dead cat bounce (wait for the "Meow" for one). The author adds additional tools to complete the assessment, like MCAD, ADX, etc. He offers different strategies, pointing out strengths and weaknesses. He suggests tinkering with the settings, zoom in and out of time frames. There are plenty of warnings to do the homework of studying stocks from multiple angles, never accept the perfect tool's lie, avoid emotions, and believe in the Market. Fundamentals should be part of this, just as careful analysis, trading volume, and sector weather. Stan Weinstein, Mark Minervini, William Jiler, please welcome this new addition to my favorite investment books! May the Trend and Clouds guide you, my fellow traders!

Very High Yield!
I don't have a financial background and started trading ETH and BTC for fun like everyone else. I needed a better strategy rather than drawing simple support and resistance lines and hoping for the best. Plus, I found day/swing trading to be fun and wanted to get more into that style. With this recent resurgence with crypto entering legitimacy I decided to pick up this book after Ichimoku strategy happened to catch my eye. Before, I was overwhelmed by all the indicator methods to the point of "paralysis by analysis".Then came along this book... it is EXCELLENT! I'm about almost halfway done and I learned that much of how I did before with profits was pretty much luck.I don't have much time with my day job and I found this book to be a high yield read with no fluff. Dense with layman's explanations of how the cogs work at a good level for a beginner trader like myself. There are plenty of examples but you can "simulate" trading by looking backwards on yahoo or any bitcoin exchange that allows Ichimoku Cloud and move forward slowly frame by frame and implement what you've learned to see if your strategy worked.Even over the past week, I was able to figure out my mistakes that resulted in loss and where I should've entered the market with lost opportunities. This won't make you a master trader (if it were that easy everyone would be rich) but it will give you a decent set of tools for investment strategy. So far, this is easily one of the best books I've purchased in a while.

Good ICHI course
I’m looking deeper into Ichimoku. It’s the perfect book to start with. I found it reads a bit difficult as I think the author is not native English and it hasn’t been edited to make it read easier. On the other hand it contains a lot of information and strategies about using Ichimoku, charts are easily readable since the print is high quality. If you don’t know Ichimoku, this is a good place to start

A well written book
I was already familiar with the Ichimoku system but decided to buy this book given the low cost and good reviews. While I didn't learn anything new, it was a fun read and I really enjoyed the visual aspect of the book. The only issue that I found was in the charts, I noticed the author uses daily and weekly charts for his examples but he never mentions this in the text, especially when he talks about Ichimoku being a "late" indicator. Sure, on the weekly charts Ichimoku would be late, but on the daily chart, it'd give perfectly timed signals. So keep this in mind when you read the book (see attachments). Highly recommend this book to everyone, at $10 it's a steal!

The best Ichimoku book yet
I have used Ichimoku for the past couple of years and find it best. I like to read various books to review and get any new ideas. I found this book to be the best on Ichimoku and other indicators to use in unison. Fantastic.

very informative and simple
I am a self-educating novice who wants to make trading a considerable source of income slowly but surely. This book will definitely be one of the sources that I will return to check again and again. It was definitely worth the money and time invested. Many thanks for your effort Mr. Koonitz!

You can google this
If you have some basic TA, you probably can google everything you need to know. Nothing special from the book.
