Holds door
I installed this on my Aliner and it works great. No mire bungie cord trying to keep my door from closing

Nice product
It does it's job. The holes don't exactly line up but it's easy to mount and has held up way better than those plastic ones.

Replacing a plastic one? Read this!
If you are replacing an existing plastic one with this metal one, keep in mind that the alignment on this one is more critical than the plastic. In other words, if you are hoping to use the same mounting holes on your door and trailer, you may be disappointed because the latch may not line up right. The plastic ones have more movement and don't need perfect alignment like this does. So, you may have to drill new holes or bend the latch all goofy like I did (I didn't want extra holes in my trailer). Knowing that now, i would have went with plastic like I had before. Looks well made though.

Good alternative to plastic latch!
It had the same hole pattern as my cheap plastic one so was easy to install. Very sturdy!

Works and can be improved
Used this to replace the original plastic ones after they had deteriorated due to UV exposure after 15 years. Didn't have the exact same hole footprint, but was able to make it work. You think the RV Industry would have established some basic standards by now. Another reason I only gave 3 stars is that it didn't come with any screws. I had to make a half hour trip to the Hardware Store to buy them.. Definitely some room for improvement. Hope they last as long as the original plastic ones and don't start corroding. Time will tell.

works
Holds shed door open as not to be continued banging into side of wood wall. Easy to install and good quality.

Nice catch
The double doors on my shed tend to blow shut even with a light breeze. I use these to keep them open. They work well, have been installed for a couple months with no side of corrosion, so I'm happy. Initially I had cheaper plastic ones, similar plastic to the ultra cheap clothes hangars we're familiar with. But just like the hangars, they broke easily, these metal ones are much better.
