I was worried about this light when it arrived because the box was badly damaged, but the light was in great shape. The light was easy to assemble and looks great in my room. I saw some that were similar that had cheap shades and unfinished pole ends, but this one is very nice and not that much more money.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and it is very nice. Good position lighting.

The lamp is OK for its price. The base itself like many other ppl had said, is a block of concrete with a black cover, which is OK is you are careful with it (it scratches wood floors). Once installed the concrete is completely covered and you won't see it.I gave this lamp 5 stars but there's a few points you might want to consider before buying.1. The three arms of the lamp can only swing by so much, so if you would like the three arms to be a certain arrangements you may not be able to do it.2. The arc span is actually smaller than the picture, the longest arm about 40 in from the base (that's including the shade), they look a little more clustered once assembled (prob bc they can't swing in full)3. The shades feel smaller. The biggest shade is 12 in wide, smallest being 11in. They are all 7.5 in tall, but with the arms not spreading so much the shades are actually OK.4. The shade is made of very rough linen-like material, the weaving is VERY loose, I mean it looks good at first glance, but once you look closely it does look a bit cheap.

Perfect 3 shade lamp. It is tall and sits behind my couch so perfectly! We use one light on a timer so there is always a light on in the house. One light gives plenty of light for watching TV. We have used all 3 lights when we wanted the room to be alive! I originally saw this lamp at a local furniture store for twice what I paid from Amazon! Delivery was right on time!

Everything is good on the lamp except for the knob that turns the lamp on and off. The screw won't go in all the way. It still works, it's just really loose.
