I am soooo IN LOVE with my cream EVRYjourney!!!!!
First off, my apologies for the novel. After TONS of research, I decided on this Sixthreezero EVRYjourney cruiser in Cream. My criteria:1) Multiple gears…Even though I live near the very flat beach, my husband likes to go biking wherever we vacation. One-gear didn’t seem to work well in grass at times.2) Aluminum frame was preferable for lighter weight and possibly better with the sea air.3) Frame that was comfortable for longer legs. I am 5’6” with longer legs and I felt smooshed on the Urban Lady.4) Wider cruiser handlebars felt more comfortable for me, as opposed to the hybrid bars.5) Step-through frame. I am chunkier and, although my hope is to ride more to lose some of this weight, not very graceful…my klutzy ways could use the ease of the lower step-though.6) Shimano components at this price-point are nicer than non-Shimano parts.7) Ease of assembly…Not sure if my husband would be home to assemble and I REALLY didn’t want to bring it to a bike shop and lose all of my savings with the assembly.8) An included rear bike rack would be a bonus as I would have to add one later anyway…added expense.9) And, honestly, I wanted a FUN bike! Although I preferred the turquoise color (or coral, which isn’t available in this model), I “settled” on the cream with orange rims because it was $100 cheaper…couldn’t pass that up.I tried out a Firmstrong Urban Lady and Firmstrong ANYjourney at a local national sporting goods chain. I liked the ANYjourney (didn’t know that it existed) but the hybrid handlebars were uncomfortable for my shoulders and wrists. Felt very mountain-bike-ish and not relaxing. I ended up ordering the Firmstrong Lady Chief for taller ladies (5’6” and up) but returned it as it was over 75” long. Wouldn’t be fun to mount on the back of our vehicle.I soooo LOVE this bike!!! After owning it for a month, and taking it on MANY outings, I just love this mode of transportation!! The shifting is AWESOME!!! I have always had hybrids/mountain bikes or road bikes (for triathlons) with two-hand gear shifts. This single handle-shift is very fluid. I just shift the crank back and forth, with one hand, switches between gears nicely & quickly. It is definitely NOT a light bike but anything next to my road bike is crazy heavy so it’s not an issue…it’s actually lighter than I expected. I can pick it up and load it onto the bike rack or move it around the garage without a problem.Assembly took my husband less than an hour. This was mainly due to his looking for the hardware packet. It was supposedly in a separate pack, according to the assembly manual, but everything was actually already ON the bike and he just needed to loosen, attach things, and then retighten. The seat wasn’t assembled…I just looked on YouTube and found an assembly video by Huffy…no worries.I am sooooo HAPPY with this color combination!! Initially, I thought that it would be boring (cream??) but it is actually a very pretty pale yellow that brightens with the sun. The orange rims add a nice FUN pop of color. It’s a very “happy” cruiser! :) I try to spread sunshine wherever I go…and now I have a happy little bike to take me there. It was also fun to accessorize! If I didn’t already live at the beach, I’d definitely feel like the beach came to me with this beach cruiser.Beach Bikes has also been a wonderful support. Even though the bike was sold and stocked by Amazon, the support immediately came from Beach Bikes. It was mind-blowing how much support they provided from over 2500 miles away! Definitely helped me to feel comfortable in my decision to buy online. I was glued to the tracking, as I bought the last bike in stock and was afraid that the numbers were off and it would switch to “Arrive within 1-2 months”. I was well aware of where the bike was throughout the week. Even though it was Prime, it stated that it would take an additional 1-2 days…that estimate was accurate. It took a while to ship out but it arrived on time, by Fed Ex, delivered right to my door without a problem. No issues with USPS refusing to deliver a bulky package, as some recent reviews stated. I easily carried the HUGE package to my garage without any additional help…It was “light”.OVERALL…I am sooooo happy with this rather large online purchase. I have no problem changing my review later, should issues occur.I’ve owned my bike for two months and STILL loving every ride!!! I love that family bike rides are FUN again!! I am the one who if begging people to go out with ME now!

Much better than comparable models
Just for reference: I’ve had this bike for about 2 weeks. My husband put it together. We store it inside. I mostly ride it through out neighborhood and on the hilly Tennessee Green Ways, which are paved trails through woods and by the water. Not a lot of off-roading, outdoor storage, or extremely prolonged use.I’ll start with the obvious: You don’t sacrifice style OR functionality in the bike. The curvy frame and cream color make it just the right amount of cute.I’m only 5’2.5” and the step-through is a great height for me to swing my little legs over. With my small stature, I also don’t find the bike to be too big, unyielding, or imposing. It handles well, even if you’re on the small side. The included instruction manual is detailed and helpful. At no point did my husband feel like we'd have to take it in to a shop to be assembled, like we had to do with his. When it comes to the seat, let me start by saying I think the phrase “comfortable bike seat” is an oxymoron. This seat is comfortable enough, if you have it adjusted properly. It took me a few rides to realize I was sliding forward too much and needed to angle it up more. Otherwise, the wide base of the seat means you can distribute your butt in a mostly comfortable way - a way that gets top marks for me on the bike seat comfort scale - unlike the seats on comparable bikes. Of course, long bike rides will leave you with a sore rump, so don’t expect memory foam here. The brakes are incredibly responsive. You’ll feel like you are in complete control the entire time, whether you’re trying to stop quickly or just influence the rate at which you’re coasting. They also, in my experience, feel pretty well balanced. I don’t find myself trusting the front or back brake more than the other, which allows me to alternate between them when trying to stop, as many suggest for the safest stop. There is a satisfying click when the gears shift, and the shifting system looks sleek on the bike. It’s my favorite that I’ve ever had/seen. You can actually feel the mechanical change from gear to gear, especially when you’re trying to tackle hills (but read the rest of the review to hear more about how this thing handles on hills). It makes it easy to decide which gear you should be in based on your situation. Pedaling gets noticeably easier or harder with each gear shift. There are a few downsides, but **disclaimer** my most notable complaints are subjective and are based on how I use the bike. These things may not apply to you whatsoever. This thing is not ideal for inclines. No matter which of the 7 gears I put it in, I’m at a near standstill, painstakingly propelling myself upward. It is a comically slow process. It’ll do it, but I have to admit that you’ll be feeling the burn. Full disclosure, though: I am small, but out of shape. I’m sure someone with more power and stamina could make their way up faster and with less effort. If you plan on riding it in a fairly level place, you’ll also have a great time with few complaints.Because of the step-through, you’ll need a bike bar to put this thing on a suspended bike rack. We have been putting it on our rack without the bar, and it just feels precarious. Better to get the bar. That being said, having the step-through (to me) is worth this, even if it means spending an extra $15-$20 to safely secure it to a rack.Overall, this bike is perfect for me. It’s cute, reliable, and well worth the money. That’s coming from an extremely frugal person, too. I had initially bought a $130 Huffy that I had to return after weeks of broken, warped, defective parts. Just be honest with yourself and choose a quality bike like this one.

My Wife loves her new bike!!
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because while unpacking the bike, the rear fender had a dent in it. Other than that, it's a very nice bike. We took our first bike ride lastnight and had a blast!!! I feel like it was a great purchase.
