Admittedly Lilliput have upped their game in recent years with better, sharper monitors using newer tech...the A7S however is NOT one of those, it feels like the last of their old, slightly soft, low contrast LCD panels. When compared to other budget options from Portkeys and Seetec/Feelworld this Lilliput is lacking in clarity and the colour is slightly off. It claims to have an 8-bit panel (like most other modern monitors) but the bit depth looks lower - blues don't look quite right and skin tones are not rendered very well - it almost looks like the midtones are being artificially sharpened? I have tried to adjust the colour but the menu is limited and there is no way to calibrate the screen.I know it's cheap and I did only purchase this as a lightweight director's monitor, not for critical focus and colour reference (I already have monitors for that) but (in my opinion) it makes images look a bit flat and unimpressive. Also, a 500nit monitor at this price point should have a waveform function and ability to load LUTs, but it doesn't. I will be returning this and looking at spending a bit more money for something better.

Item advertised with 12v adapter in title, arrived with a battery. But no adapter. So not as described. Very poor.
