I am very happy with my purchase of this protector. They fit my audio technica ath-m30x very easily.It is very useful and practical when using it, it is comfortable when using the headphones for long periods of time.I have washed the protector with a little water and detergent and let them dry in the sun. I have always washed it by hand so that it doesn't get too damaged in the washing machine, and the protector is still intact and functional.it has been very helpful

My headset started to degrade right at the top and this sleeve perfectly covers that up so I can keep gaming comfortably. Great piece

I ordered these with low expectations judging from the reviewer pictures (albeit a small sample size) showing headbands with a uniform construction from one end to another, the ATH-M40FS headband runs narrow at each end and widens at its apex so I was concerned the cover would not zip up all the way across and even when it did, it would be loose fitting at the ends. It actually turned out quite the opposite, due to the construction of my headphones, the ends actually fit perfectly and the neoprene stretched itself to a very, very snug fit all around the headband, I actually think these are perfect for the ATH-M40FS. I do have one small gripe, one side is uneven where the zipper joins but not noticeable as the zipper pull hides it. I would not hesitate adding this to the cart again!

I continually daily drive a pair of ATH-M50x's that were bought second hand, and the condition the headband was in clearly showed it. Parts of the headband covering were flaking off and getting stuck in my hair and generally making a mess. This headband cover quickly alleviated that issue, and added a massive amount of comfort too. Super easy installation and work great for any Audio Technica headphone, even the worn out ones feel like brand new again.

Doesn't stay zipped at the very end. Needs a little clasp or something to hold the corners together so the zip doesn't undo.

I am a YouTube Podcaster. I bought the Audio Technica ATH-M50X back in 2016. It was quite an ordeal watching several videos, reading, research etc. After some set up, and replacing the earmuffs, I finally got them PERFECT. I use them to live stream, and edit videos on a almost daily basis. Over the last year I began to notice the padding flaking off. It's an ongoing problem where I live in Florida. The brutal humidity is not kind to plastics or bonded leather. I have a collection of expensive headsets that all do this after a few years. Unless you can replace ear cups completely, it WILL happen! I really didn't want to replace the ATH-M50Xs since they work perfectly for my needs. This was a cheap fix. It zips on, it's stretchy enough to twist and adjust for comfort. This keeps the padding from having to be replaced, and prevents the flaking at the same time. I am a happy customer!

The leather headband pad was flaking on my ATH M50x, so rather than replace otherwise great headphones, I purchased this cover. It was easy to install and surprisingly is more comfortable than the original pads. In spite of the zipper, it looks pretty good too.
