Bandai Hobby - Char's Counterattack - Sazabi, Bandai Spirits SD Gundam EX-Standard Model Kit

Got this for a friend for their birthday and they loved it! They had been wanting to get into Gunpla for a whhile and this was a good starter kit for them. It was easy to assemble and the final product looked great. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get into the hobby or anyone who wants a pretty solid Sazabi!

An intro kit with some playability that I would have liked back when I was a kid.Picture was done with all parts sprayed on the runners and nubs masked over with some “scratch marks” (AK gold & aluminum paint) and some Vallego washes & paints for dirtying it all up. Took an easygoing half an evening to do.nb: The ball joints like popping out a lot. No big deal unless I was going to add it to the car the rear parcel shelf, then it gets the full superglue treatment.

This kit was my very first gunpla kit. It was easy and straightforward to assemble, and even featured english translations in the instruction manual. The pieces came off the runners with a swift cut from the nippers, and there was hardly any stress marks despite me using the one snip method (any that did appear were very small and were easily filed away). The pieces snapped together nicely, and fit just right. The articulation on the finished model is good as well, with a variety of poses that can be achieved.I do have a few complaints though. My main gripe with this kit is the weak joints. The shoulders and arms pop out extremely easily. One must be very gentle when handling this model, especially when changing weapons. My other complaint has to do with the beam sword. It looks kind of bad, and nothing like it should. No kinder way to put it. That is easily fixed with some paint, so it's okay.Overall I really enjoyed this kit. It was great to dip my toes into the hobby that is gunpla. This would be perfect for beginners of all ages!Side note, I DID panel line him. He does not have the black lines straight out of the box.

Simple but fun to play with

I gave this to my nephew as a gift, he loved it. It's pretty good quality, no issues or complaints here, Recommended.

Loved how easy this was to assemble, though it arrived With some pieces already fallen off, I think it’s because it wasn’t sent in a box it was just sent how it was. But otherwise great!

this may be the shipping location but the box had a security sticker over the front that was impossible to completely remove. the model was fine, it was a gift though so the security sticker ruined it.

Love bandai kits, and this is no exception. It’s very cool.
