Gave as a gift to my girlfriend who is a chem/bio-chem major. She loved it, however the first one shipped out had chipped on its way shipping. Had to wait for a new one, so the glass is thin and very sensitive. It's a good size though, perfect for smoothies or hot chocolate.

I work in a lab and everyone that sees it takes a second look thinking I’m just drinking from the beakers and I get nothing but awesome compliments for the mug

I had one these about 30 years ago and loved it then, not sure what happened to it, so after seeing this one I decided to purchase it since the glass t was probably thicker than the other ones I’ve seen. I only wish the handle was thicker/wider.

The only slight disappointment is that it seems not to be borosilicate glass, but it is a high quality glass product anyway. I noticed that the scale is printed slightly too high on the cup to be accurate, but the +-5% graphic just below the 500ml line covers that, and made me smile!

My wife got a glass similar to this as a gift, and it wasn't long, maybe a few weeks, before it was cracked and leaking. She was kind of heartbroken. So I went to the 'zon, did some research, looked for borosilicate glass, and this was one of the few that described 3mm thickness, which after looking at the old glass which seemed to be 2mm or less. This one has more heft and doesn't feel like the action of setting it down risks breakage. The spoon was a bonus. Very satisfied with this, don't waste your time with a cheaper version.

It’s a good size if you like a large cup of coffee.

The media could not be loaded. This cup is very unique! Love the look of it but this is the thinest peice of glassware I've ever held in my life. The spoon is very cheap, sharp on the edges, and It feels like it would rust after a few times in liquid. The thickness of the glass doesn't affect the use of hot or cold liquid. I take great caution setting it down. I thought it was going to be thick glass like an actual beaker, but all in all it's not a bad cup. I give it 3 stars, but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it for almost $ 13 dollars.
