Perfect for Superlux HD-672
I bought these for my Superlux HD672 to improve its comfort and its sound quality.I tried a number of ways to get the best improvement in sound quality. Putting the pads on the plastic rings made the sound warmer, but didn't get rid of the 7-10KHz treble peak. Cutting a piece of two-ply toilet paper into a circle and putting one ply over each driver fixed that issue. Sound signature was warm, with boosted bass but some bleed into the lower midrange. Mids and treble were otherwise neutral, but with a slight loss of detail, which I had expected. If you like a warm sound, this is the way to go.To fix the lower midrange bleed, I removed the pads from the plastic rings. Then I used masking tape to tape all the holes before attaching pads over the headphones without putting them back onto the plastic rings (which use the holes that were sealed with tape). The bass was brought down a bit, but no longer interferes with the midrange. Add that to the toilet paper mod I used earlier, sound quality is much improved. If you prefer a more neutral, detailed sound, this is the way to go.After the mods, the sound signature is close to neutral but with a slight boost in the subbass and midbass. I personally prefer the bass to be just above neutral, so that's perfect for me. Bass extension is also improved. The 7-10KHz treble peak is gone, but treble sparkle and airiness is by and large preserved. Also gone is the ringing that the silicone pads caused. Midrange is just as good if not better than with the factory silicone pads.No matter how the pads are placed on the headphones, comfort is vastly improved, and allows the HD672 to be worn for hours at a time with no issues whatsoever.Update June 2022: I realized that putting a piece of two-ply toilet paper inside the pad so that it'll sandwich in between the cloth protector and the plastic rings eliminates the bass issues, and simultaneously solves the 7-10KHz treble peak the HD672's are known for. Plus, this solves the problem of having to reapply the toilet paper mod every time I want to remove the pads. Bass is now punchy and doesn't start to roll off until below 50Hz, with bass easily audible down to as low as 30Hz. Midrange bleed is completely gone. I'd say the bass is slightly boosted, but very well balanced with the mids and highs. There is absolutely no loss in detail with the 7-10 KHz peak completely eliminated. In fact, I paid just $20 for the Superlux HD672, and I bought these for around $19. I'm willing to go as far as to say that the HD672 is now the best sounding pair of headphones I own, and certainly the one I enjoy listening to music on the most. If I could double the rating to ten stars, I would. Because these pads along with some toilet paper transformed them from a boring, analytical sounding headphone into one with a very fun, yet neutral sound signature. A perfect sound signature for acoustic music, jazz, rock music, movies, TV, even EDM and pop music. I'd wholeheartedly buy these if you have the Superlux HD 672.

Fits ATH R70x
I had to replace the stock pads because my ears were too big and I'd feel discomfort because of lack of pad thickness. The new pads had to be REALLY stretched to fit onto the cup. The new pads are thicker and hold that shape well because of the memory foam. The new pads are soft and comfortable, but now the clamping force of the headphones feels like it has increased quite a bit.

Great but fall apart after a year
I love these pads, and even bought a 2nd pair once the first started falling apart. However as I said they tend to not hold together after a year-ish. But if you're ok buying them every 1-2 years or dont use your headphones too much it's 100% worth it

Extremely comfortable
They were replacements for the super old original pads on my ATH-AD700 headphones. The new pads are so comfy and I can wear them for much longer than the old, worn out ones. They are definitely a worthwhile upgrade

Much better than the original in both comfort and sound
A much more comfortable option than the original ear padsI could sleep with them on now lolThey also improve the soundscape and make everything clearer in my opinion

Great upgrade for BPHS1 !!!
Although I do not think it's listed in the item title, this is a worthy upgrade for the BPHS1 broadcast headset. It is a night and day difference compared to what comes with the product. If you are someone who feels like your head is being squished, teal with tension in your temporalis regions and feel some slight soreness when wearing this particular headset, upgrading to these ear pads are a fantastic upgrade. Worth it. Note that when replacing the left ear pad, it is much easier to get the edge of the ear pad into/underneath the lip of the outer speaker assembly. You will need to remove the mic XLR connector to make sure you get a good fit all around. On the right, you can just have the cup go around the entire assembly if you choose.

Comfortable but flawed stitching
The velour is comfortable enough. However, the stitching is flawed on the left side of my earpads, it is not fully sealed and I can see the blue foam inside. The quality could be improved.

Soft, comfy, even with my large noggin
I used these pads on a samson sr850b I got on sale sometime back, but I didn't like the stock velour pads. Read online about different pad options and chose these, seeing them squish and flex so much in other reviews. After getting them, I've been very pleased with them. Maybe it just spread out the clamp force more evenly or something, it's not near as fatiguing as stock. My ear has space inside the pad and doesn't touch the inner housing wall. The sound feels slightly more bassy compared to stock, though that just might be from the much nicer fit. It's really made me like these headphones so much more, just these pads changed so much! The sr850b has thin blue pads on the driver housing that were held in place by the stock pads. I stuffed those inside these earpads, covering the L/R lettering to give it back the blue look that I liked. Installing these pads wasn't too hard, though I did make use of a little plastic pry tool I had to scoop the outer ridge up and over the driver housing. Hopefully these last a long time, they feel like they will but this is an early review of them for me.
