Great Boots!...Doc's are Classic and Timeless
These are really great boots, even though they are difficult to break in, they are worth it. I've read many reviews and some people say they run small and some say they run bigger, for me they are just a tad smaller than being true to size, being an 11 1/2 .. the 11's are too small and the 12's are just right... Helpful hint, massage in mink oil and let sit in front of a space heater for a few hours to let it absorb into the stiff leather, it makes the breaking in period a lot faster and smoother, also wear some thick socks. My wife liked them so much, she got a pair (size 6) to match, they are just the dog's bullocks! I also upgraded with some Doc Marten's print laces to add a little flair to my pair, and I think all the Doc's products are great quality and wherever I / we go, we are always getting compliments from others, people really notice your shoes when you are out in public, They're definitely worth the price and the time breaking them in.. 5 Stars! *****

these are absolutely wonderful!!! (after you break them in)
what a dream shoe, they skate very well to all the skaters out there, they feel very comfortable, and are durable AF! the only thing is you gotta break them in first. you'll get blisters, your feet will burn and ache, but it is WELLLL worth it after those two weeks. definitely worth the price.if you want to make the break in a little less painless, you can put 3-4 pairs of socks on and cram your foot in, tie the shoelaces, and run a hairdryer over the shoe for a few minutes and it'll basically mold to your foot. be sure to apply heat from the hairdryer evenly across the shoe so as to not burn the leather!but yeah aside from the break in these shoes are a 10/10

If you are in-between sizes size up because they aren't comfortable
I ordered the wrong size thinking they would fit. But you should definitely size up to get a good fit especially if you're in-between sizes and have wide width feet.

Classic Style, Tough Love – Breaking in the Dr. Martens 1460 Bex 🥾✨
The Dr. Martens Unisex 1460 Bex boots are iconic, offering timeless style with their rugged design and chunky sole. However, like most Dr. Martens, they can be notoriously hard to break in, which is a tradeoff for their durability and quality. Once you’ve endured the break-in period, though, these boots mold to your feet and become a reliable staple for years. Why they’re worth the effort:Durable leather construction: The stiff, sturdy leather is built to last, but that also means it takes time to soften and conform to your feet. Investing in a little patience (and some thick socks!) is key. 🧵🧦Chunky Bex sole: The Bex sole is a standout feature, adding extra height and grip while maintaining the classic Dr. Martens look. It’s ideal for anyone who wants a bolder style with excellent durability. 🏔️🔥Iconic Dr. Martens aesthetic: With the signature yellow stitching, 8-eyelet design, and Goodyear welt construction, these boots are unmistakably Doc Martens—classic, versatile, and endlessly stylish. 🎨🥾Unisex fit: Designed for both men and women, the 1460 Bex offers a wide range of sizes to ensure everyone can rock this timeless look. 👩🦰👨🦱Once broken in, they’re unbeatable: After the leather softens and adapts to your feet, these boots become incredibly comfortable and supportive, making them worth the initial discomfort. ⏳💪Break-in tips:Wear thick socks (or double up) to protect your feet during the initial wear.Use leather conditioner to soften the material and speed up the break-in process.Gradually break them in by wearing them for short periods before committing to a full day.Consider using heel pads or bandages to prevent blisters in sensitive areas.Bottom line: The Dr. Martens 1460 Bex boots are a style statement with unmatched durability, but they demand patience during the break-in phase. Once softened, they’ll reward you with unparalleled comfort and timeless appeal for years to come. Hang in there—you won’t regret it! 🥾🔥✨

Just what I needed
These boots are the perfect staple in my closet. They have good weight to them but not overly so. I personally think they’re comfortable, however they do feel even better with each wear. I wanted these boots for a long time and I’m so glad I finally got them.

Great Buy!
I was very surprised to have not seen reviews for the white leather considering black to be a very common color. I was hesitant as I like to try most shoes on in person. But overall it was a good buy. Anyway so these do run big I would recommend to size down. You have to break these in as you were them more frequently they tend to become more comfortable. They were better then the picture for sure and received compliments with different outfits. I do recommend. I hope this was helpful

Not what they used to be...
Title says most of it. I havent ordered a new pair of Docs in a few years and boy was I surprised when the docs I ordered online arrived. I've had lots of boots, from jump boots in the military, to casual to construction boots. These are the first boots I had no desire to even try to break in. Weird amounts of pressure from a way-too-stiff tongue and whatever's going on with the sole...I never had my brain scream no so hard than when trying on this boot. I tried two different sizes and both size remained on my foot for less than a minute.I've had docs/worn since the 90's. From loafers to industrials and even a few special editions. Going off this experience, I'm not buying anymore docs...they were that bad. I read for some there was an amount of break in and I'd agree that breaking in a pair of boots is normal. What these boots would need to be broken in is not normal, and to be honest I feel like in the smooth leather, there's more plastic than leather...don't know how mink oil is going to fix that.I'll give a few in store versions of the shoe a shot....but it looks like we lost another good brand to the cheap manufacturing methods and materials of china. After telling my experience to others, it seems I'm not alone; many people Ive talked to have returned new pairs of docs and found new value in older pairs. Even the lady at the UPS store taking the return told me this while I was sending them back!
