Powell Oak Wood Boutique Tissue Paper Box Cover

Love this tissue box. I've never been one for covers for tissues or toilet paper. The design on the box was fine. But lately the designs are ugly and never in colors that fit in my house. So I finally resorted to covering them up. And I'm so glad I did. Please note this is a full box, not a cover, which is so much better. Bottom slide open easily and Kleenex or Puffs fits nicely. It feels nice and secure when pulling out a tissue. No lifting up as the box gets emptier. It is very well made and has a nice reddish brown finish. I'm getting another one...or two.

Now, I can stop having to pick the least awful-looking box of tissue!This wooden tissue box is a wonderful addition to my room, and yes, it has an "orange-ish" tint to the wood, but turns out, so do some of my other pieces of furniture, including the table this box now sits upon.It seems sturdy, functional and heavy enough not to lift up when you put out a tissue.It is pretty and I cannot believe I have gone all these years without having a nice holder for my tissues.

This is one of the most perfect items I've ever purchased on Amazon. It is rare to find this degree quality these days. The wood is exquisitely finished and the color looks EXACTLY as pictured. As a professional artist, I can attest that the color is not orangey or red; it is a warm (reddish) brown. If you want a golden-colored oak, this ain't it. The bottom aligns seamlessly when closed. The panels measure 3/16 of an inch thick. I'm going to treasure this for a long, long time.

Very attractive tissue box in a quality wood case. Unlike the cheaper ones that set on top of a tissue box, this has a wooden slide out on the bottom to place the tissue securely in the box. The color of mine is a mid to dark oak which seems darker than the picture, but I think it looks a lot better and more expensive. The facial tissue box fits loose, which is what you want, and is easy to get the tissue out. Overall, a good quality item that looks very rustic.

I have many tissue boxes around my house, 1/2 dozen wood ones, a black metal one, several rattan boxes, a chrome one, even a mother of pearl one depending on the room decor they are used in. In my opinion nothing detracts from a room's decor like an ugly tissue box which quickly draws the eye. Kleenex, Puffs, and store brands must have contests to see who can design the most unattractive tissue boxes, they are all awful. This box looks nice and is overpriced but I could not replace it for less. I matches the decor in the room where it is used and I am happy with my purchase.

Good weight to keep the box down while you pull tissues out. Bottom cover slides very easily and fits flush with the box. Wood is sanded smooth with no sharp edges, stained, and has a satin finish. Even the little lasercut logo on the bottom is a nice touch. The color looks like the photo in my opinion and is a bit orangey.
