I put these in a Firefly "LP" - THEY SOUND AWESOME!
So I bought a very cool lookin Firefly "LP" for les than $200 bucks, brand new. The stock pick ups sounded pretty good - but not as good as my Schecter Solo II Custom (LP) with the Pasadena pups... so I took a chance on these Wilkinsons because of their low cost but good reputation. WOW, this guitar now sounds every bit as good as my Schecter now, which cost $900 more! The guitar on the left is the Firefly with the Wilkinsons... I love it and I love these pups!

Really good for the money
I wasn't sure about these pickups being so cheap, but I was happy with how they sound. If you are looking for a pickup on a small budget, these guys are for you. Mine went in nice and wired up easy. Spent more money on the bridge and tuners for this build and ended up having to cut some cost on pickups to meet budget. I have a 2011 Epiphone LP custom blackback that have the "mudbuckers" in them and these sound just as good if not a little better (sound clarity) for a more direct comparison. I have them split with push pull pots and that sounds alright. I still have to play around with direct and/or different resistors in them to dial in a good split sound though. I would recommend these.

Best Bang for the Buck
Installed them in a LP kit and was quite surprised by the sound. They were hotter than I expected, which I liked. Install was pretty easy since they appear to use Seymour Duncan color codes. No confusion there. With my wiring I got a nice vintage 70s sound. If there is a better pickup for the money, please point it out. I can’t imagine there being one. I’ll be trying some more of their pickups in later projects.

The absolute best.
I had two terrible experiences with other brands of affordable pickups until I found these. These are in a class by themselves. Not only do they sound great but the build quality, the instructions, the labeling, and the packaging are all first class. For what you get they should cost more. I used them in my Epi les paul custom.

PAF sound!
I had super high output pickups and replaced them with these. They are lower in output, but have a warmer sound with more midrange. Clean tones sound like bells, overdrive sound sings!

Incredible value
I can’t believe how good these sound for the price. I actually like the bridge humbucker more than any Duncan or DiMarzio I’ve ever owned, and I love those pickups. The neck humbucker is good too, does everything it should, but man that bridge is warm with a glorious midrange and just enough bite.
