Pitted Dates - All Natural, Fat Free Deglet Noor Pitted Tunisian Dates, from Kartago - 28 Ounce

I like that these are taste very good, are a bit larger than dates from local stores, organic (I bought the organic ones), and grown in a region where they have been grown for a very long time. Some are less moist and therefore chewy, but all are still good enough. Some are very ripe, sweet, soft, sticky, and extra moist - especially if not cold. I mostly picked each one out of the clear tub with a fork. They were a good value, because they gave me something good to easily eat between meals. They are too expensive for me to order more often, but I got what I paid for. They never gave me stomach trouble, I am pretty sure that they are healthy, I ordered them twice, and I only refrigerated them sometimes.

I bought these to make bacon wrapped dates. Large fresh dates, easy to stuff. Very very tasty. I highly recommend this product.

Got my dates, found the lid was not properly attached, and the dates are dried out, hard. Had these before and they were more moist, though the container lid is crap, doesn't feel like it really seals

These are "Mid-Eastern" type, dried (well dried) and were they hydrated, like American dates (poorly dried and gooey), they would weigh 25-50% more. I've recently changed to a mostly organic diet to combat glyphosate (principal ingredient of RoundUp herbicide) and trust Tunisians to not use herbicides anywhere near their valuable date palm plantations.They are between Algeria and Libya and stay aloof from the US mostly. The Tunisians I've met are friendly, honest and hard working. I trust them over the USDA, I worked for a service of the USDA for 14 years and can attest to the level of deception they engage. For example, USDA Organics doesn't inspect manure sources for Organic farms. If the manure comes from a commercial feedlot, it is packed with growth hormones, antibiotics and glyphosate (from GMO grains fed to commercial beef, pork, and poultry) and that farm should not be allowed to claim organic at all !I'm preparing to order these again! I really like the size of each container, exactly two servings, or one, if you're a "date monster" like me!
