Perfect pickups for the Stratocaster
The Master himself worked with Fender to get the best sound for each pickup. I swapped them in one of my American Stratocasters and it is now my "Go to" Fender! Great sound in all 5 positions! Great for mellow clean tones and full blown Rock!

Please pick ups will make you fall back in love with your guitar
I had an American standard with Stevie Ray Vaughan pick ups, and really didn’t like the bridge pick up. I switch that out with the David Gilmour pick up, and still not happy with the town. So I figured maybe I just don’t like Strat, therefore ordered these as a last ditch hail Mary.Well, touchdown! These are the real deal, they will change your guitar sound into what I consider the Strat sound (I was looking for). I am so happy as I love the look and feel of my guitar, but hates the tone. These pick ups really transformed what I have into something now maybe my favorite guitar. What I love about the tone is no tinny, thin sound, but full bodied and thick, with a very nice hi range and amazing range of control via tone knobs So you can dial in all kinds of sounds on the fly.I set up my guitar to have tone control on knobs on the bridge and neck only. Middle is open

At almost every position a lot noisier than The first set I purchased sounded a lot quieter.
I like the output but a little too gritty on clean channel. Marshall 8040

DC resistance was off
Measured DC resistance was offBridge came in at 6.5k which isnt terrible nominal being 6.8middle came in at 6.0k which is a 10% deviation from the nominal 6.7Neck came in 5.7k nominal 5.9the measured middle pickup was a bit too off for me. Also the winding itself had its on QC issues (frayed copper winding near solder joint. Will update as soon as i receive another setupdate: another set came. This time they were made in mexico which i was a little leary about at first but i went along and tested DC resistance. They were closer to specification so i went along with the install. Also for the most part the build quality looked to be better then the ones made in America that i recieved. Packaging on both sets was Tore up almost like it was used...

Hot
These pickups have a lot more output than the ones that came with my Stratocaster. The originals were labeled "Noiseless". Not sure if they were the actual Noiseless pickups. It was a night and day difference. The guitar is still quiet - as in no hum or buzz. Well worth the upgrade.

The Tone! oh the tone!
My partscaster roared to life with these babies. I was really torn between Texas Specials and Fat Fifties. From the tests and reviews, I found these to come somewhere in between those two. When I finished my build, that statement turned out to be correct in person. Not as "dark" as the Specials (although I love those two), and a little hotter in the bridge than the 50's. Definitely recommended. I made the right choice. Also, I shielded the pickup cavity really well (copper in the cavity, solid aluminum sheet under the pickguard) and wrapped the pickup wires (twisted them) and with that, they are incredibly quiet in regards to humming. Very surprised. My other guitar has active pickups, and I would never ever get actives again after seeing how quiet this build turned out.

Absolutely perfect for for clean blues/jazz tone.
We bought these for our son for Christmas, he has had them put on his 2014 Fender American standard channel bound stratocaster. He tells me the pickups are low output, clean, crystal clear in tone. They are bright sounding and perfectly balanced from string to string. His first impression is that they are perfect for a clean blues/jazztype tone. He also says he doesn't understand why these pickups aren't more popular, he feels the sound is phenomenal. I was a little nervous and upset that the case the pickups came in was cracked and broken, but my son says there is no damage at all to the pickups. They work beautifully.

Very good, articulate, clean notes with these.
I put these in my 1996 MIM Strat and it totally changed it for the better. I get better volume, more of a quacky strat sound now. I did buy a new pickguard, CTS pots, Fender 5 way switch, .1 uF PIO tone cap and push back wire so I could wire up a new pickguard for drop in ease. These brought my old strat back to life.
