Rock solid
A true example of you get what you pay for. If I would have purchased this years ago I would be money ahead. The dovetail slide is a bit tight but this thing is rock solid in any position and adjustment is a breeze.

Noga are the BEST indicator stand makers on the market. Worth every penny
Hands down the best magnetic base on the market. I've used many different styles and brands but Noga are the highest quality, smoothest acting and most secure when locked. The "noga style" made by different brands are bulkier, drop much more when rotated upside down on a shaft per se, and do not lock as securely. Trend to have to use excessive force on the lock knob which is really hard on the internals.I've had these for approximately ten years and still work beautifully. They get daily use and are the best money I've ever spent for a machinist/ industrial mechanic like myself.
