Bear Grip Pads Leather
These Bear Grip leather pads were to replace the gloves after a few months. These do not have wrist supports which I personally prefer and allowed more air circulation to stop sweaty hands. These do not pads have 3 finger loops so that the little finger remains free. The pads are thicker than the glove but felt that this worked better. These are more expensive than the gloves and neoprene pads but am hoping they last longer. These fit well but would consider myself to have medium size hands. People with large hands may find the loops too small and pad not cover enough of the palm.

Great products
Surprisingly effective. Saves wear and tear in fingers and hands and gives confidence to training.

Can easily slip off fingers
They can grip the bar well, but tend to slid off your fingers which can be dangerous

Durable and very useful for the right workout
I have used a pair for 3 years. The contact part is real leather, the other side that goes against your hand is neoprene.Use them the right way and they are fantastic.I use them to protect my hands for working sets of cleans, power cleans, chin ups and muscle ups. They are 100% perfect for these types of exercises where your grip needs to move around a bar. The leather wears smooth and the grips provides a firm contact over knurling and are thin enough for maintaining a hook grip. During muscle ups they are able to flexibly and securely move around the bar with wrist rotation. They will protect your skin from callouses / tears. They will not add any addition to your grip strength and in fact, they are likely to slightly reduce your grip.. If you want to add grip, forgo gloves entirely and get some chalk, wimp.I train with regular weightlifting bars, smooth and knurled metal chin up bars and rubber coated chin up bars. No problems with any of them. As mentioned, I use them for working sets and I wouldn't ever use them for 1 rep maxes nor doubles. But for sets of 4 and over they are invaluable.A chalk bag, these grips, and a pair of 100% leather straps are the only lifting equipment one needs for the hands. After 3 years, my pair are finished now, stitching falling apart etc, so I'm buying a new pair.I would love to see a full leather one - with good stitching, this could probably last a lifetime.

Much better than a glove for me
This is an old skule trick. We used to use buke inner tubes cut down, but this is another level Top quality. Great size. Strong. Look great. Very light. Excellent to use. A superb alternative to wearing a gloves. It's just what you need, making it cheaper too. Great value.
