These things are sooooo cool. It's so nice to get rid of the danger remotes in the car. We live in a great neighborhood, however it's nice to know that the remote comes inside at night if the car(s) happen(s) to be in the driveway from time-to-time.I don't know what the range of these remotes is / are, however they seem to be close to as good as the old block-style clipped onto the sun visor.It's a slight challenge to learn how to program, however that's all about me, not the product. I highly recommend!!!UPDATE: I was so impressed with these little remotes that I bought another pair. Overnight, the original two remotes stopped working so I reprogrammed them and all is well. It was likely me, not the remote or overhead door controller that was at fault.I've found that it's super simple to program these little guys now that I have more experience with them. I climbed up on a ladder to get up close and personal with the overhead door controller, then pressed the A and B buttons on the remote for about 5 seconds until the LED turned solid on the remote. I then pressed the programming button on the overhead door controller until it went into programming mode (mine is a purple button, by the way -- the instructions say that these remotes work with all colors of buttons / overhead door controllers and I have no reason to think that this isn't the case -- quality stuff). After two button pushes of the A button on the remote (or the button of your choice on the remote), it synched and all is well. This technique worked on all four remotes.Very nice stuff. I highly recommend this product. Again, I don't know what the range is for these little remotes, however it's good enough for me and my family.

Easy to program and works as expected

Look, this product works. It opens the garage and closes it. Great. But the buttons sometimes stick and sometimes don't work, so you have to push it multiple times. It just feels cheap and the type of product that I'm going to have to replace in the next year or so. But you get what you pay for and this product works and is inexpensive. Just don't have high expectations and you and your garage will be fine.

Combined with the Linkmaster 850LM, these are easy to program, easy to use, and have exceptional range for one to three openers. All this and up-to-date security. Though suggested for use with Linkmaster openers, it uses the push-button terminals and will work with any garage door opener/receiver that accepts wired push-button operation.It works best if you hold the open/close button down for a count or two.One ding: the visor clip is tough to install, but you only need to do it once. (Battery change does not require clip be removed.) Filing down the first pip in the slot to half its original height makes the installation easier without making the clip loose.

Easy to program.. Even an old lady like me (78), I did it all my myself! Instructions said to take the garage part off to see the back side. My garage part does not come off the wall so I just held the new remote close to the garage opener and followed the menu instructions from the garage unit. Worked like a charm!

These garage door openers were extremely easy to program. They came with easy to follow instructions. I was able to program multiple garage doors to each remote seamlessly. I was also able to use the newly program remotes to then program the home link system in my car. Excellent quality. I would give them a highest recommendation.

This product works as advertised, very easy to program. The reason for buying this product is to replace the one that came with the garage door opener. The battery housing was rather flimsy and not holding the battery tightly in place thus the remote would work sometimes and not others. It looks like this has been improved because the battery housing now looks different and there does not seem to be any room for the battery to move sideways or up/down. Time will determine overall value.
