As a professional massage therapist, I did my research before purchasing this set. My efforts paid off. These instruments are made from polished machined metal. From the moment you pick one up, you realize you have just put your hands on a precision instrument. The weight and balance are perfect. They are heavier than I expected as I have a cheaper version of these and there's no comparison between the two. It was a big leap to spend this kind of money on this set - and I'm very glad I did. The benefits of using a perfectly weighted tool provide increased therapeutic value for the client.

Don't purchase this, they must have known that their were parts missing. Expensive not to get all the parts.

If you use "Graston" these are the better option than their own tools or "Hawk Grips" and I have used those both. Each tool adds a different level of versatility to working with every area of the body. I still use the ellipse the most because it is what I have had in the past, but even the shape of that has changed for the better with different angles and tweaks to make it easier to hold. The tri-bar is great for working large muscular areas such as the thigh or upper traps. I have found these tools work the best with "Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula"

better than the generic tools, worth the money

I'm a chiropractor and used to use Graston and Adhesion breakers. Those are good tools, but this tools are better! I like dips on surface which allows me to grip/hold easily. I also like holes and a heavy handle, I can get same result with less effort. My patients are satisfied with this tools too. I would like to recommend this tools for everybody.

These tools are amazing! I have tried every version of IASTM tools from Graston to every cheap knock off and these are my first pick by far. I am a chiropractor that is opening a second office and buying a second set for that office. I work all day with the shark fin shaped tool in my back pocket and the others within reach. I was lucky and got to use one of the first ellipse shaped tools and although good from the start this version is upgraded to top of the line tools. There are a lot of options but I would recommend these to anyone that wants to save their hands and get patients better.
