Arrived 2 days early. Broke off a piece right away and BAM! The real authentic thing! I usually go into the city to get authentic Parmigiano Reggiano but now that I've found an online source that I can trust I will be ordering again. The price is also reasonable.

Great value -- Great flavor
I bought this the 1st time from Frank and Sal when trying to make classic italian dishes like Ligurian Pesto, it worked well, held well, and was great to cook with. I then tried several local stores but it just wasn't the same quality, and ounce per ounce was more expensive.For me, If you are making amazing food you need amazing ingredients-- I have found it can be hard to find "imported" cheese locally at a great price.Example:1 lbs (16 oz) of the 2 year aged Parmigiano Reggiano (with Prime from Frank and Sal) costs less (ounce per ounce) than buying 12 oz ($18) of Parmigiano Reggiano at a store local to me in California. Exceptional flavor worth the price
While it is a bit pricey compared to other cheeses you can buy in the grocery store, its flavor is well worth it. There's a difference between price & value, and this cheese has made the cut to become a staple on our Caesar salads and Italian foods.This cheese makes everything it's put on taste better. It's shipped wonderfully in great packaging. You will not regret buying and then eating this cheese!

Delicious! Worth every penny!!!!!
I've had this from Frank & Sal's once before. So very delicious. The rind I love to use while making my home made Sunday sauce. I cut the cheese in half and freeze one portion in a vacuum sealed bag. The other portion I keep in a glass container. Lasts for many months. Scrumptious!!!!!
